Just another Isekai Lover~

             Chapter 9

There are magic bags in this world as well. They are very useful, but not many people have them because of the price.

A must-have item for adventurers! Even though it's a sales pitch like that, what does it mean that ordinary adventurers can't get their hands on it?

I have it because I bought it when I used to be at a party. Thanks to that, I don't have to carry around 2 elder orc balls and a head by hand.

But now that I think about it, I don't like the idea of having the balls and the head in my bag...

There is no such thing as a "baggage porter expelled from an S-rank party" in this world.

I mean, if there's a magic bag, why not an item box too? I've heard of guys with those skills, but I've never actually met one

Before returning to Bastok, I stopped by the village where the request was made. Actually, there is no need to do this. If you report to the guild, the guild will inform the client of the accomplishment of the request...well, it would be nice to have at least a follow-up.

When I reported the accomplishment of the quest in the village and took out the Elder Orc's head as evidence, the villagers who had gathered there thanked me and asked me to put it away as soon as possible.

 Why is it so.

When I was about to leave, Marina says

"Would you like to stay over tonight? Well... I'll cook dinner for you..."

She said that, but considering the freshness of the food I gave to Iska and the others, it was only enough for about three days.

I'm glad you're feeling that way, but I can't help but think that Nina and Ratz might get hungry. ......

"No, I'll just take it. I have my reasons for having to leave early."

Nina's doll also needs to be repaired.

Ariamel said it was very precious to her, so she might be happy to have it fixed.

"Is that so…"

 Marina looks very disappointed.

I wonder what is this mysterious sense of guilt that comes up at times like this.

"....Well, let me know if you need anything else. I can only deal with monsters and bandits."

But this makes me look more like a mercenary than an adventurer...

Adventurers and mercenaries are quite different. Adventurer cards are issued by the adventurer's guild and can be used in various countries as identification.

For this reason, adventurers are restricted by adventurer laws in addition to the laws of each country.

For example, it is forbidden to demand anything from the client other than what the client has offered to the guild (additional gold, jewelry, etc.). So in the case of Marina's request, if the adventurer made the request, it was out of the question.

If you break the law, you can be fined or even have your adventurer status suspended or revoked. Naturally, your Adventurer Card will also lose its validity.

Mercenaries do not have that. Basically, it is a matter between the client and the individual who receives it. But because of this, trust is even more important for mercenaries than for adventurers.

 Don't you have a dream?

I'm comfortable with the fact that everything comes with responsibility, and as long as I can keep it that way, I'm free to do whatever I want.

Compared to Japan, laws here are so loose that they don't even exist in the first place.

The villagers saw me off as I left the village.

One by one, they returned to their houses, and Marina kept waving at me at the entrance to the village.

In the carriage on the way home, I had a plan.

It's ...... my dream home project!

I've been living in Bastok for quite some time now, and I've been thinking about settling down for good.

Rejoice, Elder Orc! Your balls will fund it!

...... Something about this doesn't make me happy...
