And the mother is funny too… Not only that she takes the box out of the fire and puts it in the warehouse. No, she puts it back in his room as if she had forgotten that he wanted to burn it on purpose.
Seriously this all of this could have been avoided if the parents had just burned it somewhere instead of having the stupid idea of just keeping it. In the first place they didn’t want it burned because it would be unhealthy in his room.
Box-kun has the same plot armor as truck-kun.
I can’t understand the underwear gag/fetish in all Japanese works. This feels incredibly forced and convoluted and has no bearing on the story whatsoever
because shame is a huge part of japanese humor.
frankly the problem here is it’s simply not funny. this author doesn’t understand how to write comedy so this just comes out akward. worse, we’re talking about 8yos here. an age of child the author probably has never spoken to.
Now that Box-chan’s role has been fulfilled, I wonder if it has the same plot armor as before
Something tells me he is going to misunderstand this situation. While she is direct in matters of fighting something that awkward I doubt she will blurt it out and be vague about it. She probably gonna be about that thing in the box in your room and Mc going to think something completely mundane like magic stones he used up.
