After being deeply moved by Leonhart’s spirit in the game, I distracted myself by endlessly munching on cookies and gulping down tea.

It was a bit embarrassing, but I couldn’t handle it any other way!

“Sorry to keep you waiting…”

“Mm.”

I had repeatedly refilled my plate and cup to the point where the remaining servant woman looked horrified, but eventually, I managed to calm down.

Indeed, eating is the best way to deal with emotional turmoil!

Eating can help overcome sadness!

“Sir, your companion’s preparations have been completed.”

“I see.”

It seems that while I was indulging in my feast, Celia had finished her measurements and placed the order for the clothes. I thought it would take longer, but it was quicker than I expected.

“Leonhart-sama, I’m back.”

Accompanied by another servant, Celia appeared in the room.

She was in her usual maid outfit. Clothes are considered a luxury in this world. They’re generally custom-made.

It’s more about the high cost of the fabric than the clothing itself. Perhaps they haven’t experienced an industrial revolution yet. I’m not very knowledgeable about it, but in women’s society, clothing and fabric are often given as rewards.

“Welcome back, Celia. Did you decide on the clothes?”

“Yes. But are you sure it’s alright? Didn’t you also have something you wanted?”

“There’s still plenty of funds left. Even if I buy what I want, there’ll be change.”

After a short break, we left the clothing store. It was a considerable expense, but it was all for Celia. There was no helping it. Farewell, gold coins!

By noon, we entered a restaurant I had been eyeing for a while and had a hearty meal. Afterward, we continued to travel along the main street of the capital by carriage, checking out various shops.

We visited accessory shops and weapon stores.

I noticed that it seems there are different terms for items created by humans and those produced in dungeons.

In the game, they were categorized the same, so I didn’t realize this until now.

Treasures.

It seems that items from dungeons with special abilities are referred to as such.

It’s a general term for items imbued with mysterious powers that cannot be created by humans.

For example, my Poison Sword is also a treasure. It’s just a sword that secretes poison infinitely, but it’s an item that humans can’t produce.

We had come to a store that dealt in such treasures.

“Oh…!”

The store was filled with dungeon-produced items just as I had seen in the game. As a fan of the game Land of the Spirits, this place was incredibly exciting.

After all, you can actually hold items that appeared in the game!

This is a major boost in excitement!

“Leonhart-sama, you look like you’re having fun.”

“Yeah!”

At Celia’s comment, I immediately nodded vigorously. Seeing me like that, Celia chuckled softly. It was a bit embarrassing, but I couldn’t hide my high spirits.

“Wow. They have Poison Swords too. And over here is the Crimson Claw.”

There seem to be more weapons than anything else. As I surveyed the store, I noticed something.

“Most of these items have special effects.”

Most of the treasures in the store had clear special effects, like secreting poison or emitting fire. There weren’t many items that just increased stats like HP or MP.

I’m guessing that since people in this world can’t see their stats, treasures are defined by their obvious special abilities.

Come to think of it, the MP-boosting gear Seria has wasn’t called a treasure either; it was sold in a regular accessory store.

However, it seems that among items that boost stats, those with significantly high values are treated as treasures. If there’s a good MP-boosting item for Celia, maybe I should consider upgrading.

I also want a new sword for myself.

I’m a dual-wielder. One sword can be the Poison Sword, but I want another decent sword to go with it.

“Hm?”

While checking out the one-handed sword section, I found something good. It was a deep red one-handed sword.

“It’s the Blaze Sword. Looks cool!”

This sword causes additional fire damage when attacking. It’s not the strongest weapon by any means. In fact, among weapons with additional damage, it’s close to the weakest. But the additional damage is an appealing ability. I couldn’t help but pick up the Blaze Sword.

At that moment, I knew.

“Hmm… I’ll go with this one.”

I instantly liked the Blaze Sword.

“Have you taken a liking to that sword?”

“Yeah, I’ll take this one.”

I nodded and answered the man who had approached, presumably the store owner.

This Blaze Sword might become my trump card.
