Chapter 6 Epilogue
It was already deep into the night.
The magical airship Lemuria had been flying in the nearby airspace, waiting for the battle to end. However, as soon as they confirmed the end of the battle, they headed to the square of the temple.
Ren, who had been sitting on the rubble, observed the situation from the corner of his eye and watched the knights of the Holy Lion Sanctuary who had arrived at the square.
Lemuria settled down in a corner of the square, and Verlich came out.
“Whoa… I could feel the pressure, but I never expected things to turn out like this,”
The dwarf said as he made his way to Ren.
He briefly glanced at Vane and the others as he walked over.
“Yo, Ren! You did it!”
“…It’s not like that.”
“What’s wrong? You won, didn’t you? You don’t look too thrilled.”
“Well… It’s been quite a journey.”
Even though he said that, it was good that they had come and won. Ren was still holding his arm limply.
“Are you hurt?”
“It was a tough opponent… I didn’t expect to come out of it unscathed from the beginning.”
“That’s good enough. Just being alive is enough.”
“I think so too.”
“By the way, how about getting some first aid? You know, use the power of that Meldaeg family’s boy from the heroic family… It might help.”
“I already had that done. So that’s taken care of.”
Squall was also quite exhausted, and he was still growing. While Vane was there, his use of the Hero’s power was relatively recent, and his essence was more suited for combat.
Verlich understood Ren’s ambiguous attitude and nodded in agreement.
“Anyway, it was quite a big operation. I’m surprised the knights from the Holy Lion Sanctuary were dispatched too.”
When Vane and the others arrived here, Orphide had already corrupted the area. To be prepared for the worst, hard sword knights had also been dispatched to Windea. While dealing with Orphide would be a heavy burden, handling the demon cult would be relatively easy. And if necessary, they could rush in as reinforcements for Vane and the others.
The matter of Orphide’s defeat fell under the jurisdiction of the knights. Everything else could be left to them, and Ren’s role was now over. He hadn’t been able to find out about the girl to the very end, but there were still things he had learned from Orphide’s reaction.
This alone might not be so bad. Ren’s participation in the battle undoubtedly had multiple meanings.
“Shall we go back?”
“…”
“Ren?”
Lost in thought, Ren’s response was delayed, and Verlich waved his hand in front of him.
“Oh, sorry.”
“Don’t worry about it. You seem tired.”
In usual circumstances, Verlich might have given Ren a playful nudge on the side. However, considering the current situation, he refrained from doing so. Nevertheless, he smiled when Ren finally responded.
“Can you walk on your own?”
“I’ll be fine. But I might fall asleep if I let my guard down.”
“In that case, rest inside Lemuria.”
“…I’ll do that.”
As Ren stood up, one of the knights from the Holy Lion Sanctuary noticed. One of them approached Ren.
“Ren-dono, leave the rest to us.”
“Thank you. I appreciate it.”
The knight couldn’t help but feel proud as he saw Ren, who usually didn’t show such fatigue during training, with torn clothing.
After bidding farewell to Vane and the others, Ren soon entered Lemuria.
Even under normal circumstances, it would have been difficult for Lemuria to ascend to this height. However, today, due to Orphide’s influence on the surrounding magic power and Lemuria’s high baseline performance, ascending to this height wasn’t an issue.
Spring had just begun, and Lemuria had been repaired not long ago, which also played a role.
Inside Lemuria, Ren headed not to his quarters but to the bridge. When he sat down on the large sofa in the corner of the bridge, Verlich chuckled and said, “You should rest in your room.”
“Something might happen, so I’ll rest here.”
“Hey now… Whenever you say things like that, something always seems to happen.”
“That’s not my intention. Besides… it’s a matter of feeling.”
For some reason, he wanted to rest here. Verlich could tell that Ren wasn’t just being considerate.
“Suit yourself. If anything happens, call for me.”
Shortly afterward, the shp’s engine started running. Lemuria gradually moved away from Windea.
Ren’s consciousness ended there. Verlich, who was piloting, turned to see Ren sleeping on the sofa. Ren had placed his head on the cushioned armrest of the sofa and stretched his legs out as he slept. He had draped a large blanket over himself.
Verlich made an extra effort to drive carefully, given the circumstances.
Several hours later, when Ren woke up, he was still inside the bridge.
The only difference was that they had already arrived at the aerial garden of Elendil.
Ren, who had been lying on the sofa, felt much more sluggish than when he had gone to sleep.
Ren let out a big yawn.
As he tried to sit up,
“No, stay in bed.”
“You shouldn’t push yourself yet.”
Voices came from in front of the sofa.
“Why are you here?”
It was Licia and Fiona.
They were still in their uniforms, and while not as dirty as Ren, their clothes were somewhat disheveled.
Moreover, they were holding onto Ren’s injured arm, and Ren could see black and white magic emanating from their hands, though he didn’t quite understand the situation.
“Haha, you look like you want an explanation.”
“Exactly. How did we end up in this situation?”
When Lemuria returned, they had headed over from the town. Even though it was late at night, they had fulfilled their duties as nobles, collecting information and dealing with enemies multiple times.
“What? Enemies?”
“Those people who were outside the train. They also appeared on the road outside of Elendil, so Fiona-sama and I dealt with them.”
“W-Why would you do something so dangerous———-?”
“Oh, come on… Are you really going to say that, Ren-kun?”
“Well, I am a knight’s son!”
Thinking back, Ren was curious about how they had received permission to fight, but then he remembered that Klonoa had come from the imperial capital to Elendil. With Klonoa nearby, they couldn’t just sit still and had gone to the road instead. In fact, it might have been safer to be with Klonoa than in town.
So Ren finally understood why their uniforms were slightly dirty.
When Ren had tried to ask them for more details, Licia told him, “I’ll tell you later.”
“…Certainly,” Ren said, expressing his intention to ask them again later. He then looked at his own hand.
“Huh?”
He noticed that something about his arm had changed.
“That’s a relief. It seems to be working.”
Ren’s arm, which had turned black due to Orphide’s power, was gradually regaining its original color.
Fiona had used the power of the Black Priestess to affect Ren’s arm. She thought that maybe it could remove the power of the Demon king’s cult.
However, the damage that had reached the muscle fibers remained, and the pain persisted.
Licia said, “Leave it to me,” and used divine magic.
If Ren hadn’t been injured, Licia would probably have retorted fiercely against Fiona. However, in their current situation, it wasn’t the time for such thoughts. Instead, she breathed a sigh of relief that the power of the Black Priestess had come in handy.
The deep-seated damage in Ren’s arm, which had reached the muscles, was gradually healing.
“How is it? Has it gotten even a little better?”
“Well, it’s definitely improving, but it’s not there yet.”
Ren didn’t know when it had started, but he had unconsciously stopped feeling embarrassed about showing weakness to these two.
While still lying down, he looked at the two beautiful girls who were on their knees in front of the sofa.
“It’s still incredibly painful.”
He said with an unusually weakened voice.
The two of them immediately wore gentle smiles as they comforted him.
◇ ◇ ◇ ◇
A couple of nights later.
Before the rainy season arrived, there were already many hot days.
Today was no exception, and many students were wearing their summer uniforms.
Just like Ren, who rolled up his shirt sleeves a few times, Radius was also doing the same.
The imperial capital had returned to normal faster than the three of them had expected, and the academy was now back to its regular classes starting from today.
Before the morning classes began, the two of them were on the rooftop.
“It’s finally calm enough for us to talk.”
They had been busy with various post-mission tasks, and this was the first time they were meeting after the incident in Windea.
“We’re relieved about the Orphide incident.”
“It’s all right. It was also for my sake.”
“For your sake?”
“Ah… In the sense of fighting to protect my place.”
“I see.”
When he vaguely dodged the dream thing with suitable words, Radius nodded without any doubt.
Ren had been thinking about sharing the name of the girl he saw in his dreams with Radius and Ulysses soon.
If he said that he had heard it from Orphide, it should be fine.
Apart from the legend of the Seven Heroes, there shouldn’t be any problems with talking about it.
“The operation was successfully completed. Priest Orphide had more power than we anticipated, but with Ren’s assistance, we managed to get through it safely.”
“So, everything is completely settled?”
“That’s right. Now, we’re in the stage of thinking about where they will appear next.”
“Alright, as long as that’s the case.”
In the context of the story of the Seven Heroes’ Legend II, the first chapter came to a conclusion. Radius also discussed several other matters with him.
Despite being only a few days, it felt like they had experienced a few months’ worth of events. It was such an intense period of time. Additionally, after the battle with Orphide, Ren’s ability to summon magic swords had been strengthened:
Level 7: Can summon up to three magic swords.
Ren wondered if there would be an opportunity to summon three swords simultaneously. If so, he thought about ordering a special scabbard from Verlich to carry them more conveniently.
“Ren finally showed his power.”
“Showed off? It’s not like that. It was just a matter of timing.”
“Is that so?”
“It’s like that. There’s no need to make a big deal out of it.”
“Ren-kun, one of the Holy Lion Sanctuary’s executives said with a smile that you showed your worth.”
“…Who said that?”
“Executive Estelle.”
Ren chuckled as he wondered who would say such a thing.
“Well, take it easy for a while.”
“That’s the plan. I’ll go to the Holy Lion sanctuary and swing my sword there.”
“I’m not sure if that counts as taking it easy, but if it’s what Ren wants, it’s fine. Just remember that Ragna might contact you suddenly, so keep that in mind.”
Saying that, Radius took out a piece of stationery from his pocket.
“For me?”
“Not from me, but from Ragna.”
At this time of the year, when you receive a letter from that researcher, you can pretty much guess the content. Radius took out the letter in front of Ren, and it only had one sentence written in the middle of the paper:
“The key is fixed. I’ll contact you again soon.”
Sending a letter just to say one sentence was somewhat typical of Ragna.
Ren put the letter in his pocket.
“It was probably a short message anyway.”
“How did you know?”
“I’ve known Ragna for a long time. A few years ago… I forget the content, but when I sent a letter asking for help, I got a two-word response, ‘I refuse.'”
“…That does sound like Ragna.”
While talking, Ren thought back to the events that had unfolded since this spring.
First, he had gone to the Sword Garden and met the Sword King, Lutreche.
She had recommended that he go to Windea with Radius after confirming the emblem with a crest on it. Their goal was to find the hideout of the legendary bard, Mudi. By repairing the key found at the Geno Institute in the old city of Eupheim, they hoped to obtain information about Cecil Ashton and the head of the Geno Institute.
That was all there was to it, but it felt like they had experienced intense days this spring.
“Well, I should be going now. I need to talk to Mirei.”
“Got it. Then I’ll go too.”
After parting ways with Radius as soon as they left the rooftop, Ren headed to a corner of the hallway. There, Licia and Fiona were waiting for him, and he said, “Sorry to keep you waiting,” continuing the conversation.
“Considering what happened recently, is it really okay to have the academy running as usual?”
“Is that so? Isn’t this the norm?”
“After the incident, there haven’t been any more problems. Besides, there might be more nobles who would get angry if they canceled classes. And… our time here is limited.”
Because it was a prestigious academy known both domestically and internationally.
“That’s true,” Ren agreed.
There was still some time before the first class started. As the three of them walked down the hallway, considering passing the time by having tea in the cafeteria, they passed by a student.
“Clausel-san! You were amazing the other day!”
“Thank you.”
As they exchanged greetings with a passing student, a teacher who had heard about Ignat’s impressive use of magic to repel the Demon king’s cultists also spoke to her.
“It’s true, Ignat-kun, I heard you did a splendid job using magic to drive away the Demon king’s cultists.”
“Thank you very much, sensei.”
It was about the incident when they got off the magic train and fought. Some students had witnessed Licia and Fiona using their powers, and teachers who had heard about it also occasionally approached them. On the other hand, Ren wasn’t approached by anyone.
Since Ren didn’t fight when they got off the magic train, and Licia and Fiona incapacitated the Demon king’s cultists, few people knew that Ren had been with them.
The Orphide incident had not become public knowledge yet. It was still carefully managed information because of the nature of the incident and who was involved.
“Hey, Ren, is your hand okay now?”
Licia asked, and Fiona continued,
“You looked like you were in pain until yesterday. Are you okay?”
Ren’s arm had finally started moving normally this morning, thanks to Licia and Fiona’s help, but it had taken an unusually long time.
Fiona, who lived in the girls’ dormitory, was worried about him and had visited Elendil from early morning yesterday.
“It’s completely fine now. Thanks to both of you.”
Hearing his response, they also felt relieved.
As the three of them left the rooftop, they stopped when they felt the pleasant breeze coming in from outside the stairwell window.
While they paused, Licia brought up a certain piece of information that was still lingering.
“By the way, I wonder what happened in the Great Forest.”
In the Great Forest where Estelle had gone, there was the lair of the Black Emperor Horn Behemoth.
It was a powerful monster that required sending a force like her.
The reason for the investigation was that they had detected the Demon king’s cult’s magic in the depths of the Great Forest. However…
“Estelle-sama mentioned it, right? The Black Emperor Horn Behemoth hid and didn’t come out from its lair, she said.”
“She also mentioned that it seemed to be frightened by something.”
Ren had been concerned about that too, but now there was no way to verify it.
What had happened in the depths of the Great Forest? What had the Black Emperor Horn Behemoth been afraid of?
Although investigations were still ongoing in the area surrounding the site, Estelle, who had returned to the imperial capital, had said yesterday:
“We will continue the investigation just in case, but I don’t expect to find any significant information with the current situation.”
Based on her experience as a military officer until now, she believed that would be the case.
When Ren heard the story from Estelle, he thought about a certain person. It was that girl, the one he had seen in his dreams and had obtained clues from Orphide’s reaction. The Black Emperor Horn Behemoth seemed to be frightened by something. While he didn’t want to believe it, he couldn’t help but wonder if that girl was somehow related.
This person, who Ren was determined to hear the truth from no matter what, knew many things that Ren should know. She was a mysterious girl, the one who knew who Ren Ashton was to the mastermind.
As Ren thought about that girl, he descended the stairs and walked down the corridor. Suddenly, a group of seven people, including Vane and other members of the heroic families, appeared from where the three were walking. Perhaps because it hadn’t been long since that battle, they were still gathered as a group and seemed to be discussing something.
Face to face, Vane approached Ren with the others following behind him. The two people who were by Ren’s side stepped back to give them some distance.
“Ren! Is your arm really okay now?”
“Yeah, thanks to both of them.”
Behind the shy Ren, Licia and Fiona smiled.
“Ah, that’s really good.”
“You guys had a tough time too. Are your injuries okay?”
“We’re getting there, slowly,”
Vane replied with a laugh. They had also used potions and healing magic to recover, but they were still feeling fatigued. The battle that night had been a fierce one.
Vane, Sarah and Kaito, the three who had served as the vanguard were still suffering muscle pain.
Changing the subject, Ren said.
“Congratulations on finding your ancestor’s bow, Lophelia-senpai.”
“Thank you. I said it that night as well, but it’s thanks to you, Ashton-kun.”
“No, not at all. I just requested the investigation of the stairs because I was curious.”
With this, they now had the second piece of equipment known as the Hero’s Equipment. The Hero Faction seemed to be more lively than ever, but as Radius had said, it wasn’t a bad thing considering the welfare of the people.
“Will I also find my ancestor’s weapon?”
Vane asked, gazing into the distance outside the window.
Ren replied, “I’m sure you will,” and Vane turned his gaze back from outside the window, showing a smile and his white teeth.
“It’s strange. When you say it, it makes me believe it might really happen.”
The conversation ended, and the three and the seven people passed by each other. As Ren and the others were about to leave the area, Vane turned back and shouted, “Hey!”
In response, the three stopped and turned around.
“We really appreciate what you did the other day!”
“It’s all right. We already said our thanks in Windea.”
With a smile, Ren said his farewell and walked further down the corridor with Licia and Fiona.
After seeing off the three, words from a conversation last year between him and Sarah came to Kaito’s mind. Sarah had told him back then:
“What I want to say isn’t that… But if you underestimate Ren Ashton, Kaito’s great shield might be shattered.”
At that time, Kaito had dismissed it as nonsense, but now, after witnessing the battle in Windea, he had a different perspective.
If… if that strength Ren had shown at that time had been directed at him.
While intentionally avoiding thinking about it clearly, he couldn’t help but consider it.
But there was no reason to fight Ren. At least not in the current situation, and certainly not towards Licia and Fiona either.
“……”
“Kaito-senpai? What’s wrong?”
Vane asked Kaito, who had been silently watching Ren and the others’ backs.
“No, it’s nothing.”
Without much of a pause Kaito changed his mood and laughed it off.
◇ ◇ ◇ ◇
Before the summer arrives, there is an exam. Unlike the one Fiona, the senior, recently took, this is a mid-term examination conducted for all grades.
Despite the recent disturbances, academic pursuits remain essential. Although they’ve been busy lately and haven’t been able to study much, they don’t want to let their grades drop.
Ren and his two companions didn’t go home after school and instead visited several bookstores in the imperial capital. The reference books they purchased were now tucked away in paper bags they carried.
The imperial capital was bustling, partly due to the sudden increase in people who had been avoiding going out after the recent disturbances. While it wasn’t as crowded as during the Lion King Festival, it was busier than usual. It was easy to get lost if one wasn’t careful. Ren was trying to ensure that didn’t happen, but the crowds were so dense that Licia and Fiona’s hands ended up brushing against each other, and before they knew it, they were holding hands.
They exchanged glances and chuckled.
“Is it okay for us to cooperate like this?”
“Yes, it seems like the best option for now.”
Walking hand in hand to avoid inconveniencing Ren, they intended to do so only until they reached a less crowded area. Seeing Licia and Fiona holding hands took Ren by surprise.
“I’m sorry. If I were a girl, I might have been able to navigate this without getting lost.”
Rather than wanting them not to get lost, he wanted to say that they shouldn’t get lost, but it was such a bold statement that both girls swallowed their words.
“Don’t worry about it.”
“We’ll be fine.”
Despite being romantic rivals, they forced smiles.
As they walked, they saw an imperial carriage of the Elfen Faith passing nearby. While Licia’s expression seemed to stiffen, it didn’t become a bigger issue. Not so much because she was supported by the black priestess Fiona, but because most of her attention was focused on holding hands.
As they approached the section of the city where the academy buildings were located, the crowds gradually thinned out. Licia and Fiona let go of each other’s hands and began walking separately. While walking ahead of Ren, they talked about various things.
They discussed topics related to the Great Forest, trivial matters related to academy life, and even the idea of renting a training ground for some sparring.
“I won’t lose next time.”
“No, next time, I will win.”
The day when Licia would become the Sword Saint wasn’t too far away. Thinking about it, Ren, who had already achieved that rank, pondered.
(What could be the catalyst for Licia becoming the Sword Saint?)
Remembering his own intense struggles, he considered the possibility that Licia might face similar challenges.
She had already been at the Sword master level for quite some time. Though it might seem early, it generally took several years to move up just one rank, and becoming a Sword Saint from a Sword master usually required a considerable amount of time.
However, considering Licia’s dedication, it didn’t seem surprising. Alongside Fiona, who had demonstrated powerful magic outside the magic train, they were both working hard. Their voices, filled with mutual respect and competition, had made Ren feel like he couldn’t lose.
But there was another matter as important as becoming stronger, and that was the reason behind the tragedy. And also the reason why he decide to fight Orphide.
“You can see it, can’t you? I’m the one who killed her.”
Why had the White Saint Licia and Ren Ashton ended up in such a situation?
The answer might become clear sooner than he expected.
“However, I wonder for whom the mastermind is. You were at the center of such turmoil, so perhaps, for Leomel, you might be the mastermind of the incident. The same goes for the Elfen Church. And for the Demon king’s followers, you’re an enemy of the demon king’s cult amd you protect the descendants of the Seven Heroes. To the disciples who were cut down as if they were led into it, you must seem like the mastermind behind that scheme. I wonder what your true position is.”
However, who is Ren Ashton an enemy to?
Who could it be for? The Demon King’s Cult? Leomel? Or perhaps the Elfen Church? Or maybe even an enemy to the world, though that might be an exaggeration?
He needed to find her.
She undoubtedly knew the reason behind that tragedy from the world-line even before it occurred or held some other valuable information.
Right now, he still didn’t know what she wanted to say, but he was getting closer to understanding bit by bit.
“Haa…”
After Ren sighed and muttered unconsciously, the two girls walking ahead of him suddenly stopped in their tracks.
“Where is she, I wonder?”
Ren muttered almost unconsciously.
Upon hearing this, the two girls walking ahead abruptly stopped.
It was an inescapable question. No, the term “she” didn’t necessarily imply a romantic relationship between a man and a woman, but they couldn’t help but be curious about the identity of the “she” he mentioned. They turned around slowly.
“Huh, both of you, is something wrong?”
However, even though they weren’t in a romantic relationship, it felt improper to make a fuss about someone else’s relationship.
“Who are you looking for?”
“Who are you looking for?”
Licia and Fiona looked flustered and inquired cautiously in unison.
Talking about it here didn’t seem appropriate, and Ren remembered that.
“Since it’s related to the Demon King’s Cult, I’ll explain it properly later.”
With that said, they seemed to understand and nodded solemnly.
They didn’t feel like going home just yet, so the three of them entered a nearby park. Licia and Fiona sat on a bench, and Ren stood beside them. Along the way, they bought cold drinks from a vendor and gazed up at the sky, each holding a beverage.
Fiona’s voice brightened as she said.
“Look, the stars are so beautiful tonight!”
The starry sky wasn’t as breathtaking as the one Ren had seen in Windea, but it was close. Countless large, bright specks of light adorned the pitch-black sky, almost close enough to touch if they reached out.
It was a tranquil moment they spent together, a respite after the recent turmoil. After a few minutes of stargazing, Licia made a suggestion.
“Hey, Ren, how about training together next time?”
“At the Holy Lion Sanctuary?”
“No, not there. Like last time when I trained with Fiona-sama. This time, the three of us.”
Ren thought that was a great idea. It was an opportunity for him, aiming to become the Sword King.
“Ah, but before that, we have mid-term exams…”
When Ren mentioned it, the girls exclaimed, “Oh, right!” They had to do something about the upcoming mid-term exams. While they were usually good students, recent events had left them with limited time for studying, and they were feeling a bit anxious.
“Before training, shall we study in our usual room?”
“That sounds good.”
Licia asked Fiona with a casual tone, and both girls agreed, with Ren following suit.
They had a lot to think about—the exams, training, the hidden sanctuary of the legendary bard Mudi, the girl from Ren’s dreams, Cecil Ashton, and the truth behind the tragedy.
Soon, Ren’s fifteenth summer in this world would arrive.
What kind of summer would it be?
Ren thought about it, sharing a smile with Licia and Fiona.
◇ ◇ ◇ ◇
In a large town not far from the Lophelia territory, in another noble’s territory.
A beautiful young girl visited a high-end restaurant in an expensive inn. After finishing her meal, she immediately left the restaurant and headed back to her room.
However, on the way, she felt a presence.
She then proceeded to the inn’s rooftop.
Climbing up a staircase meant for employees only, she reached a space like a roof, without an observation deck like a regular rooftop. There, a man dressed in a pitch-black robe was waiting.
As the girl arrived, the man kneeled and lowered his head.
The wind at this height caused the girl’s hair and the man’s robe to flutter.
“I apologize for the sudden visit.”
“It’s fine. So, what do you need from me?”
“Orphide-sama has headed to His Majesty’s presence.”
When a follower of the Demon King died, they wouldn’t express it as going to the Elfen Faith.
Upon hearing these words, the girl replied casually, “I see,” and gazed up at the sky. She then lowered her gaze, mourning for Orphide.
“Thank you for informing me. Is there anything else?”
“Haa…..”
The follower of the Demon King seemed reluctant. As seconds and tens of seconds passed, his anxiety grew, but he had no choice but to speak.
“This might be foolish of me to say, but before you continue to displease the head priest, shouldn’t you return…?”
In response, the pressure emanating from the girl caused the follower of the Demon King to fall to his knees.
It must be the feeling of not being alive. The follower of the Demon King might usually be captivated by the lovely smile of the graceful and beautiful girl, but right now, that smile was terrifying.
The oppressive feeling pierced through his skin, and the girl’s words reached him as she stared at him.
“Hey,”
she said.
Rather than the pressure diminishing, it increased.
“Is a person’s existence merely a result of chance or strength? Were they fortunate enough to survive without encountering the world’s absurdity, or were they strong enough to fend it off?”
The girl hinted that the time for chance might come to an end, suddenly and abruptly.
“Which one are you?”
Silver hair with black streaks, two eyes more beautiful than jewels.
As the girl gazed at him, the man’s breathing became erratic. Unable to respond, he trembled.
Seeing the man’s reaction, the girl turned away from him.
“Don’t say such terrible things. After all, I thought of doing this on my own initiative. You could at least listen to me without being so reluctant.”
The girl from Ren’s dream.
She had introduced herself with a curtsy.
“I am —- Eve. I’m the sister of Medario, the leader of the demon king’s cult.”
