While searching for the monster, Rest defeated three sharks and transported them to the fishing village using magic.

The villagers, who had not gone out fishing since the incident, gathered around in excitement when Rest placed the sharks on the shore.

As Rest returned with the three sharks, the villagers welcomed him with cheers. They danced with joy around the lined-up sharks.

“We’ll prepare some during the day and bring it to your inn later.”

“Alright, I’m counting on you.”

The villagers quickly fetched knives and began butchering the sharks with practiced hands, removing the organs and cutting the meat into blocks.

Despite the gruesome scene, there was something captivating about it.

He had never seen one before, but perhaps this was similar to a tuna-cutting show.

“Oh, Rest, you’re back.”

“Lady Celestine.”

As he watched, Celestine approached, accompanied by her guards.

She flinched at the sight of the shark being dismantled but quickly composed herself, as expected of the “Iron Lady.”

“I have something to discuss with you…”

“Let’s move somewhere else.”

Rest figured this scene wasn’t exactly pleasant for her and walked alongside her toward the inn.

“I’ve arranged for food supplies. Since it’s a large quantity, it will take some time, but it should arrive within a week.”

He didn’t know how much the village had in storage, but with today’s shark meat, they likely wouldn’t be in immediate danger of starvation.

“I also contacted the local lord about the monster attacks. I used the name of Duke Crocus, so I expect we’ll receive some response soon.”

The lord had ignored the villagers’ pleas for help.

Even if he did respond now, Rest doubted he would be able to deal with a monster that even he was struggling with.
