Chapter 375: state of our friends

　Tauro was unsure what to do with the gauntlets he had completed for Zion.

　One option was to seal it.

　He also consulted with Ragune and Ankh, and Ankh was of the opinion that it should be sealed, while Ragune was of the opinion that it should be up to the person themselves to decide.

Tauro was troubled again by the divided opinions,

“If Tauro-dono can equip it, maybe Zion can as well?”

　Tauro received the finished leather armor for Zion at the Rangas blacksmith shop.

　Rangas puffed out his chest and handed it over to Tauro.

　Tauro then appraised it with his “true eyes” to confirm.

“Apart from the gauntlets, this seems to be a much better item.”

　Tauro was relieved at the results.

　The magic stone originally belonged to this monster, so the compatibility is excellent.

　Above all, the “grant enhancement” effect that was given through the secret art seems to strengthen all the enchantments, so there’s no doubt that it will make you stronger if you equip it.

　However, Zion looks like a human, with just a few cat ears growing out of his head.

“Welcome back, Tauro-sama! Welcome back, Ankh, and welcome back, Ragune!”

　Zion was so happy to see Tauro that he was about to hug him.

“Hahaha. That’s our line. But, ‘sama’?”*

　Tauro was caught off guard by the fact that he was being addressed as “Sama.”

　When we finally parted ways, I don’t remember him calling me “sama.”

“During my training, I heard from the Dragon People how great a person Tauro-sama is. I was amazed that he was called ‘the hero of the village’ by the Dragon People! I also saw the bronze statue! Tauro-sama is great! That’s why Tauro-sama is Tauro-sama!”

　Zion’s eyes sparkle as he looks at Tauro without a single cloud of emotion.

　…… These are eyes that have been completely brainwashed by all of the dragon people!

　Tauro was racking his brains over Zion’s condition and wondering what to do.
