Chapter 463: The Trading Company’s Best-Selling Product
Having finished making the magical water heater, I headed next to the trading company. Coming along were Fabienne, Mira, and Nero. Mira stood out a bit, but since it’s already widely known that she’s being kept by the Heine Frontier Count’s Household, it probably won’t cause much of a stir.
That said, just one member of the Heine Frontier Count’s Household showing up is enough to cause a commotion. It’s a bit late to worry about that now.
To avoid getting separated, I held hands with Fabienne and carried Mira at my side as we moved. Our destination, of course, was the magic potion section.
“Even though it’s just past noon, the stock is already running low. Maybe some merchant came by and bought in bulk?”

“That was the plan, anyway.”

“It might be better to get daily sales reports on the magic potions.”
“That does seem wise. Are there enough medicinal herbs? The herb garden at my house is growing reasonably well, so don’t hesitate to let me know if you need anything.”
“Thank you. I’ll take you up on that.”
I could use a plant nutrient potion to grow them quickly, but they grow too much and it’s a bit scary. I need to refine it into a potion that can be used safely. I never thought I’d be worrying about weakening an effect. In the game, I only ever thought, “Lucky, it grows instantly!”

“Oh, Mira wants that snack, huh? Huh? I don’t recognize that one… Maybe Sister-in-law Daniela came up with it?”
Since Sister-in-law Daniela spent a long time in the royal capital, she knows many new and rare sweets. Now she’s using that knowledge to lead the confectioner unit. The men wouldn’t really understand that stuff. It’ll still take some time before Rosalia grows up to that level. I’m truly glad that Sister-in-law Daniela came to the Heine family. If it were just Mother, things wouldn’t have gone so smoothly.

After that, we headed to the office inside the trading company and discussed the potion stock situation. Alex-niisan seemed to be holding back with me, but I insisted that we must take care of our customers, and he finally agreed.
“Alex-niisan, are there merchants coming from outside the territory to buy in bulk?”
“Yeah, it seems so. But it’s hard to impose strict limits. For now, we’re prohibiting purchases of more than ten at a time.”

A few days later, the Royal Court Potion Masters were scheduled to arrive from the royal capital. Officially, the purpose was to spread potion-making knowledge across the country, but that wasn’t the real reason. They were coming to learn how to make the full recovery potion from me.
According to what I heard, three of them are coming. I thought it would only be one.
“I never imagined three people would come.”
“Me neither. Apparently, only one of them is officially dispatched, while the other two are supposedly traveling on a training journey to improve their skills.”

I looked at Alex-niisan in exasperation, and he gave a wry smile. Looks like he’s exasperated too.
Did they argue over who would go? Maybe they settled it by calling it a training journey.
