Chapter 288: I’ll put my all into making it

The body of the fountain pen was made with only gold plating to avoid any discomfort when held. To prevent the grip from being slippery, I added a slight texture.

Next, for the cap, I used both gold and silver plating and added elaborate decorations. I engraved the flag of the Spencer Kingdom in a small size, and in the empty spaces, I dynamically arranged vines symbolizing prosperity and a bird representing peace.

I must say, I’m quite confident in this creation.

Next is the pen for Mother. I need to put extra effort into making these two pens by today. They also need to be just slightly less luxurious than sister-n-law Daniella’s. That’s the tricky part.

I’ll change the flag to the Heine Frontier Baron family crest. For the grip’s non-slip feature, I’ll use silver plating. I decided to add lilies, which are Mother’s birth flowers, to the cap. I hope she will be pleased.

Even though I messed up before, I always take crafting seriously.

Mira is watching the sheet metal work intensely. I hope I’m not boring her. When I asked Nero and Lelie to look after Mira, they responded with smiles.

By the time I finished Mother’s fountain pen, Rosalia also completed the magic stone burner. As expected of Rosalia. I tested it, and it functioned perfectly without any issues.

“Julius-sama, I’d also like to try making a fountain pen.”
