Chapter 6: shall I ?

　Well, that’s okay.

　I was on my way to the train station when apparently I got caught up with a crazy race of people and died by accident.  Probably.

　Then a crazy pink-headed woman who claimed to be a goddess or something showed up, and I was so pissed off I punched her…what’s up with that?

　Then a second one, a blonde, crazy guy called “senpai” (senior) showed up again and pissed me off even more, so I beat him up…but so what?

　When I was beating them up, I apparently took away some of their abilities, but that’s just as well, so what’s the big deal?

　I got caught up in it and ended up being cremated.

　I had to use their abilities and rebuild my body before I could understand what was going on

　I’m not human anymore – I’m not even merciful. ‥‥‥‥

　I lost the chance to see my ‥‥‥‥ idol. They are deserving of eternal damnation.

　Just when I was thinking, "I'm going to burn these guys to a crisp," they dropped me down.

　The blonde-haired squidlet No. 2 sent a rock-like object flying at me, so I politely gave it back to him.

　Is it a pity that my aim was too good?

　Now all that's left is for my curse to be activated, and everything would be fine.

　The place I fell into ended up causing some environmental damage, but it wasn’t my fault, so, well, I don’t know. There was a fancy pink mountain and I ended up half-destroying it in frustration. serves them right!

　a little bit? It's so fragile that just throwing a stone with all my might lowered the elevation by about a third. ←I am here right now 　

“I mean, there’s nothing and no one here.”

　No, if there was someone else, it would be a lot of trouble to get involved. That’s about as merciful as it gets.

　There's nothing but trees here as far as the eye can see. Is it a forest?　I wonder if it would be like a sea of trees since there was a pink mountain. ‥‥‥‥

“‥‥‥‥I’m hungry”

　Didn’t I stop being human? How can I be hungry?

“…”

　────should I do it 

　Am I going to do it?

　These are the lines that a Japanese person would try first when they came to another world.‥‥‥‥

　Am I going to do this while thinking of that sick  blonde guy?...

I know no one is around, but I scurry around to check my surroundings just in case.

“Yes, I’m doing it! Status Open!! ──────whoo-hoo!”

　As soon as I shouted, a translucent wall rose up in front of me.

I recoiled as I saw something bigger than I expected, but the highlights disappeared from its eyes, and eventually the translucent wall disappeared as well.

“　 I was intoxicated by the ‥‥‥‥ letters.”

　Even though the screen was so big, it scrolled by itself, as if it couldn’t fit everything in the screen, and the text seemed to have some kind of ego, like, ’Hi, hi. I’m amazing!’ and the letters seemed to flash on and off in a self-assertive manner! Meanwhile, it kept saying, “it’s me it’s me!” and then switched just like that, the result is that it’s not easy on the eyes.*

　In the end, I didn’t understand it well.

　I couldn’t figure it out, but there was a lot of stuff. More than ────

　I close my eyes for a while to heal the damage caused by the literal violence.

　One letter caught my eye.

“Type: Human (Isn’t it? (Odd)”

“What do you mean by “odd”?”

　I opened my eyes with a snap and ‘stepped over’ a nearby rock with my heel.

The rock, which was about the height of a man, crumbled fragilely and finally turned to sand.
