Isn’t there a risk of motivating him if Ur trounces him?
Absolutely. I can see Ur owning him and that will probably motivate him to be strong (might make him catch up to his strength in the original time-line) but he was still weaker in the end and only won with the power of friendship.
Alto probably encountered Maria before this time or around I’d think which would make him into a decent hero. Sounds like this story is going to go reverse with the hero being the bad guy instead in the future.
