Chapter 332: And to the Legend……

Tauro decided to send all the dragon people who had gathered in the royal capital to the dragon people’s village using “spatial transfer”.

Everyone had been working for me, chasing after the assassin guild.

I decided to have them go back to their hometown, both to honor their hard work and to celebrate with their family the accomplishment of conquering the dungeon, a long-cherished desire of the dragon race.

A week has passed since then.

In the meantime, Tauro, Ragune, and Ankh had been doing  quests as usual at the Adventurers’ Guild in the royal capital.

“Okay, another accomplishment for the day.”

Tauro completed the quest completion procedure at the reception desk and checks in with the two.

“I think I’m finally getting used to the idea of only the three of us running around.”

 Ankh let slip.

“Yes, I think so too. I used to feel inconvenienced by the absence of Aeris and the lack of magical support, but I think that's fading recently."

 Ragune also understood Ankh’s words.

“Aeris’s magical support was huge, both offensively and defensively,……. I wonder what she’s doing now that she’s returned to the Marquis of Van Dyne territory…”

Tauro also becomes sentimental as he remembered his former comrade who had left the group.

That evening, several packages were sent from the Marquis Van Dyne's residence to the residence of Count Graunewald.

One was clearly identified as a black altar staff, and the contents of the other items could be guessed immediately.

It was a set of equipment that Aerith had received from Tauro.

A letter was enclosed inside, in which she expressed her gratitude for all that had been done.

It seems that Aeris has given up on being an adventurer once and for all.

It is true that due to the injury, it did not interfere with her personal life, but she was unable to do strenuous physical activities.

For Aeris, returning to aristocratic society would have been like an insurance in case of an emergency, but it was probably because she was prepared to completely cut off this path, she returned it to Tauro.

Inside was also a pendant indicating that she was a member of the “Black Golden Wings”.

In this way, Tauro was now completely alone as the original member of “Black Golden Wings”.

“When they give me back my equipment set, I realize it all over again…”

Tauro felt sad, but Pella, in her disguised as his belt, moved around as if to encourage him.

“Pella, thank you. ……”

 Tauro thanked Pella for that.

He then decided to change his mind and accept that Aeris had chosen her own path and started moving forward.

“Maybe it’s the leader’s turn next.”

Ankh patted Tauro on the shoulder and said something that made Tauro aware that he had been adopted by a nobleman.

“Me? Hmmm ……. may be in the future, but I’d like Ankh and Ragune to stay with me as friends from here on out.”

Tauro said something in a weak voice.

"Hahaha! I will always be by Tauro's side! That is my sincerity towards you, as a comrade with whom I have made a blood pact, as a friend, and as a benefactor."

Ragune replied and lightly patted Tauro on the shoulder.

“If the leader says so, I’m fine with it.  Besides, if I end up serving the Count Graunewald family, then it looks like I'll be able to live in peace even in my old age. Wahaha!"

Ankh also answered and patted Tauro and Ragune on the back.

 Then a few days later.

A change had come to the village of the Dragon People.

In a large plaza located on the main street of the village of the Dragon People, a large statue was erected.

It was a full-length statue of a boy, and a plaque mounted on its base read, “Tauro, the human hero who saved the village of the Dragon People and contributed to the fulfillment of our long-cherished dream.”

Statues of various sizes were placed at the entrance and exit of the dungeon, in front of the “curry shop”, in front of the chief’s house, in front of the Adventurers’ Guild, and at the entrance and exit of the village.

Apparently, the red-haired Malak and others who had been active in the royal capital had taken a hint from the statues they had seen there, and recommended the construction of the Tauro statues to the chief.

No one, including Chief Ryuga, objected, and the statue was apparently built in secret to surprise  tauro.

"...I'm certainly surprised, but this is nothing short of embarrassing."

Looking up at the giant statue of himself in the plaza, Tauro could only chuckle.

“your accomplishments for the Dragon People’s village are so great. As the one who brought you to the village, I too am proud!”

Ragune happily puffed out her chest with her nose in the air.

"If it were me, I'd give you a break, but since it’s leader, it can't be helped! Wahaha!"

Ankh was irresponsibly understanding of the Tauro statue as if it were someone else’s problem.

"I'm going to ask Chief Ryuga-san to remove it, but...I don't think it's possible...However, I'll definitely ask him to remove the one in front of the Adventurer's Guild."

Tauro took a strong opposition and was determined to have the statue in front of the village Adventurers’ Guild branch, which he would continue to use, removed at all costs.

As a result of the opposition, the statue of Tauro in front of the Adventurers’ Guild was removed.

However, the other statues, even Chief Ryuga was adamant.

After all, Tauro's achievements were great, and he strongly stated that it was necessary to pass on his achievements to his children and grandchildren.

For Tauro, there was no need to pass the story down to his descendants, but for the Dragon People, it was an important matter.

Therefore, the statue of Tauro and Tauro’s achievements will be passed down from generation to generation in the Dragon People’s village.

In the legendary village, Tauro became a living legend.

"Let's give up on removing them. Yes, that’s right. Ragune, Ankh, Pella. I'm thinking of taking this opportunity to move our base a little. If that’s alright?"

Tauro made a suggestion to his friends.

“Where are we going this time?”

 said Ankh.

“I’ll follow you wherever you go!”

 Ragune said.

 And shaking like a jelly,

  Pella

“…… next…”

Tauro told the two and one creature where they were headed next, and they set off on a new adventure.

           …….end….
