■ Ruriha

101 years old. Fairial. Female.
Honey-colored hair. Amber eyes. Mineha’s mother.

Class I Explorer. “Fairy Empress.”

She also serves as the chief of the Fairial Village within the kingdom and the commander of the Fairy Warrior Corps.

● Personality:

As the village chief, she has a strict personality. On the other hand, her true nature is cheerful and a bit airheaded.
Mineha had only ever seen her strict side and believed that was Ruriha’s entire personality.
There is a dungeon within the Fairial Village.
Those who possess an explorer license and are recognized as warriors are called Fairy Warriors.
Ruriha also concurrently serves as the leader of this Fairy Warrior Corps.
She remains faithful to her late husband, but seems a little curious about the person her daughter is interested in.
Among the Fairial, there are no particularly strict rules regarding marriage.
There are no such regulations in the village laws either.

● Ruriha’s Relics:

• [Avatar of the Fairy]: A Fairial-exclusive relic that allows her to take on a humanoid size.
  Returning to her original form consumes a large amount of calories.
• [Lightning]: Can produce and control lightning.

  Can amplify and increase her own clones as shadow bodies.
• [Ordinance Enforcement]: A relic of the Fairy Ordinances.
  Allows conditions to be enforced as ordinances.
  However, it has no effect on opponents stronger than herself.

• “Royal Fairial Spear Technique”: A spear art handed down through generations in the Fairial Village; she has complete mastery.
• “Thunderclap Indira”: Gathers and drops lightning amplified by “Donner of Thundersonia.”

● Ruriha’s Equipment:

• “Fairial Dance”: A pure-white, dress-type suit of armor.

● Ruriha’s Weapons:

• “Shadow Dancer”: A jet-black spear OOPArt.
• “Fairy Ordinance”: A silver spear OOPArt with four black wings.
  Wrapped in a yellow sash engraved with black letters.
• “Donner of Thundersonia”: A yellow spear OOPArt.
  Has round, semi-transparent orbs at the pommel and tip.
  The shaft is striped yellow and black, and the spearhead has barbed, harpoon-like hooks.
  Dramatically increases the power of the [Lightning] relic.

Author’s Comment:

An adult version of Mineha.
However, Mineha ended up being more sensual and alluring than her mother.
Even so, Ruriha has the kind of mature, embracing presence only an adult can have.

■ Lollief

24 years old. Universal Human. Female.
Long two-tone blue-and-green hair, with blue-and-green heterochromatic eyes.
Wears a pale, leotard-like dancer’s outfit.
Draped in a thin, translucent cloth resembling a celestial scarf.

Class I Explorer. “Dance Princess of Water and Wind.”

● Personality:

Her manner of speaking gives a somewhat sharp impression.
She loves dancing—absolutely loves it.
She doesn’t particularly care where she dances.
She is accompanied by the fully armored, full-face knight Gilbald.
Somewhat tsundere.

● Lollief’s Relics:

• [Water]: Can produce and control water.
• [Wind]: Can produce and control wind.
• [Rêve Move]: Allows up to four physically possible actions or movements to be performed with no recoil.
  Cooldown: 4 minutes.

● Lollief’s Equipment:

• “Water Wind Dance Dress”: An OOPArt outfit that enhances the power of water and wind.

● Lollief’s Skills:

• “Dance Technique”: Exceptional adaptability and skill that can handle any form of dance.

Author’s Comment:

I wanted to include a dance princess, and this character was created from that idea alone.
I really like how she can dance anywhere, regardless of the environment.

■ John

49 years old. Universal Human. Male.
Twisted headband. Black hair. Black eyes. A middle-aged man.
Nothing particularly remarkable about his appearance.

Class I Explorer. “Dungeon Shop Owner.”

● Personality:

Laughs loudly—“Gahahahaha!”—while drinking alcohol.
Usually drunk.
Runs a shop that sells only items, weapons, and armor obtained from dungeons.

● John’s Relic:

• [Dungeon Drop]: Guarantees that monsters encountered in dungeons will always drop loot.

● John’s Equipment:

• “Manly Headband”: Proof of a true dungeon man.

Author’s Comment:

A character I introduced purely on impulse and momentum.
Different gender, but similar to Hanae Ichinose from Maison Ikkoku.
He’s useful in his own way since he just drinks and laughs loudly all the time.

■ Dimero Silence

24 years old. Beastkin – Rabbitfolk. Female.
Light black hair, with only the tips of her bangs dyed gold.
Long bangs that hide her eyes—classic mekakure.
Average height, with a body as thin as a withered branch.
Wears a modest, fluttering concert outfit.
Her skirt is vivid red, spreading like three flower petals.
Wears a white-flower beret.

Class I Explorer. “The Taciturn Musician.”

● Personality:

Quiet, extremely shy, timid, and always nervous.
Taciturn, but her musical skill alone is exceptional.
Many have heard her performances, but no one has heard her voice.
She always holds her partner doll, “Paprika.”

● Dimero’s Relics:

• [Detection]: Detects presences and signs.
• [Buff Music]: Playing music grants random buffs.
• [Vibration]: Produces and controls vibrations.

● Dimero’s Equipment:

• “Paprika”: A small doll that closely resembles a chibi version of Dimero.
  The hair colors are reversed, and it wears a bright dress.
  Its rabbit ears and tail are black.
• “Mysterious Instrument Case”: Appears to be a violin case, but contains a wide variety of instruments inside.
  The largest is a grand piano.
  Not an OOPArt, but a Legendary item.

● Dimero’s Skills:

• “Performance”: Can skillfully play musical instruments.

A character inspired by Bocchi the Rock.
Just kidding. Sorry.

■ Thousand Faces

Age: Unknown. Species: Unknown. Gender: Unknown.
Wears a black hood and a suspicious outfit resembling a plague doctor’s mask.

Class I Explorer. “Thousand Faces.”

● Personality:

Their true nature ends sentences in a sleazy manner.
Apparently has a very sleazy personality.

Author’s Comment:

Can transform into various people, so they’re convenient in that sense.

■ Crow Dister

Age: Unknown. Species: Unknown. Gender: Unknown.
Dressed like a clown.

Class I Explorer. “Nightmare Parade.”

● Personality:

Has a joking, irreverent personality that feels like he’s mocking people.

● Crow’s Relics:

Unknown.

● Crow’s Equipment:

• “Clown Costume”: Allows the wearer to take on a clown’s appearance.

Author’s Comment:

Nightmares—when you think of nightmares in this work, you think of clowns.
That’s all there is to it.

■ Piany Monkschud

28 years old. Faun. Female.
Long hair shimmering brilliantly with a mix of gold and silver.
Golden eyes that hold blazing flames within them.
Her dignified, beautiful, and valiant facial features possess an intense beauty that naturally overwhelms others.
Her burning golden gaze carries the sharp, cutting brilliance of a blade.

She wears a red, fur-lined cloak and a pure-white suit of armor adorned with a lion motif.
Former imperial noble lady.

Class I Explorer. “Commander of the Explorer Knights.”

● Personality:

Bold and knightly, for better or worse.
Has little interest in her own appearance or femininity.
However, she is particular about her underwear.
She has a toned, gravure-model-like physique.

● Piany’s Relics:

• [Intimidation]: Radiates authority and dignity, halting the opponent’s movements.
• [Gold Slash]: Releases golden slashes. A relic tied to the possession of the Golden Sword.

• “Monkschud-Style Dual Swordsmanship”: A two-sword style passed down through generations of the Monkschud family.

  Allows her to instantly leap into the opponent’s range. Originally based on a dog’s pouncing motion.

Author’s Comment:

I really wanted to introduce a female knight. I really wanted to.
But she ended up becoming far more noble and powerful than I expected.
I’m especially fond of the Golden Sword and Pure Silver Sword.

■ Vauban Fortress

39 years old. Universal Human. Male.
Blond hair, blue eyes, square face, white teeth.
Heavily muscled and usually bare-chested. Always wears leather sandals.

Class I Explorer. “Human Fortress.”

● Personality:

Extremely confident, always wearing a radiant smile.
Doesn’t listen much to what others say, but he’s not a bad person.
The type who crushes the strong and helps the weak.
Believes protecting everyone is his job and his mission.

● Vauban’s Relics:

• [Hardening]: Hardens his own body.
• [Super Power]: Displays extraordinary strength. Cooldown: 120 minutes.
• [Guardian Shield]: Deploys an invisible barrier. Cooldown: 40 minutes.

● Vauban’s Equipment:

• “Hero’s Garb”: Garb of a hero passed down since ancient times. Just plain cloth clothing.
• “Sandals”: His favorite leather sandals made from hell crocodile hide.

● Vauban’s Techniques:

• “Muscle Pose”: It’s coming. It’s coming. The muscles are coming. Pose.
• “Perfectly Timed Sense of Reassurance on Arrival”: Instantly dispels everyone’s anxiety.

A textbook sandal hero.
You don’t see heroes like this much anymore these days.

■ Narcissus Utopia

24 years old. Edda (Generous). Female.
Purple twin-tails. Sharp, upturned purple eyes.
A shrine maiden of the Utopia family, one of the Six Houses of the Edda.

Class I Explorer. “The Return of the Generous.”

● Personality:

A girl who loves to assert dominance and look down on others. Not very smart.
A total klutz—always acting smug and boasting about her lineage.
Inside, she’s a chihuahua: timid and shy, yet fairly aggressive.
Uses [Vanish] as a weapon through [Weaponization].
Believes that even if she understands nothing, confidence alone will carry her through.
If she stays quiet, she’s among the cutest and most beautiful.

● Narcissus’s Relics:

• [Vanish]: A transparent, square-shaped object that erases anything it touches.
  Can range in size from fingertip-sized to enormous dice-sized.
  Only one exists, and it cannot be separated from Narcissus’s hand.
• [Weaponization]: Allows objects to be turned into weapons.
• [Future Prediction]: On very rare occasions, allows her to glimpse the future.
• [Presence Detection]: Detects presences.
• [Perceptive Sight]: Can see things invisible to the eye and hear voices that cannot normally be heard.

• “Bracelet”: A bracelet given to her by Wof.

Author’s Comment:

A natural-born airhead. The freest spirit in the story.
I tried mixing characters like Satania from Gabriel DropOut and Koyori from Wataten.
It’s a secret that in the early stages she was a classic Ayanami-type character.
