Chapter 17: Meeting Begins

　

After that, His Highness Grayson and I along with other new members of the disciplinary committee were made to take part in a test called "A test of strength" and we surprised the school disciplinary committee members who came after us.

Only a handful of us were able to properly deal with the attack, and I think most of the students fell prey to the ball and wooden sword.

Between you and me, I felt sorry for the surprised students, but also found it kind of funny.

And now──── despite everything, all of the disciplinary committee members soon gathered in the committee's room, and the meeting was about to begin.

As we took our seats, sorted by grade, our attention was drawn to the chairman and vice-chairman stationed right in front of the blackboard.

"We will now begin the first meeting of the ──── Disciplinary Committee!"

Dina sama, who declared so loudly, had on a crisp expression and had placed her side hair right above her ear.

It was hard to believe that this was the same person that had surprised and laughed at us earlier.

"First of all, let's talk about the role of the Disciplinary Committee. As you all know, our job is to mediate and suppress troubles. The silver-haired beauty took a pause and flashed a teeth-revealing grin.

She puts her hands on her hips and pops out her chest with everyone focused on her smile, which was not like an aristocratic lady.

She said that she was a strange woman who wanted to become a knight and told us to get rid of our anxiety.

She said with a clenched fist, placing it on her chest then continued. 

"So, follow me with confidence!"

Her amber eyes don’t let you feel the slightest bit of anxiety as it looked like they were illuminated under the sun. Naturally, I was fascinated.

There’s no doubt that she had unfounded self-confidence, but the reason why I think "this person is okay" is probably because of her dazzling looks.

People call this ──── charisma.

There’s no doubt that she’s a ridiculous weirdo, but she doesn't seem to be a bad person.

Gerard senpai, who said that the burden was not that great, placed the chalk on the table and looked back.

He claps his hands whitened with chalk powder, and laughed with a grin.

"We have to discuss the security of school events with the student council and teachers, so we won't know the details until then, but the basics are the same as the usual patrol. The route of the patrol changes. Of course, the amount of work … Well, there’ll be a lot of trouble."

Well, at school events, people come and go a lot. There are people from other countries among the students of Frügel Academy, so I think it's unavoidable that there will be a lot of quarreling.

According to my sister, it seems that a certain number of thieves invade every time there’s a school event ... but I don't really know.

His Highness Grayson may show them to me, but unfortunately, he’s also a member of the discipline committee.
