Chapter 58: To the Guild

"Room~~~" 

"Are you okay?" 

"I’m fine" 

When I got home after four days of school, I dive into bed first. What I’m learning at school is becoming more of magic and martial arts. I was doing that at my parents' house. However, I’ve hated school itself since my previous life. I’m good with studying at home, but I don't like being forced to study at a fixed time. In other words, I’m not suitable for group behavior.

"Then what about tomorrow? Do you want to tell Shina to take a day off?"

"I'll go even if there’s a natural disaster."

"No... I don't think the guild will be doing anything if there's a natural disaster...”

You can say that I can go to school because I have these two days to defeat monsters. It's such a nice break.

"Even so, Sophie ... as expected."

"No, no, this is nothing"

"It wasn’t a compliment"

"Do you hate it?"

"I'm in trouble because I don’t ..."

After diving into the bed, I should have been looking at the ceiling with a pillow under my head, but when I noticed, Sophie's face was right above. In other words, Sophie was giving me a knee pillow. The bad thing about it is that Sophie's knee pillow feels more comfortable than a real pillow. No matter how much I look for a pillow, I can't find anything better than Sophie's knee pillow. And it strokes my head as a set. I quickly get drowsy.

"Would you like to sleep?"

"Mmm……"

"Good night"

And I fell asleep as it was.

"Yes"

"Mm"

In the end, I slept until morning. Of course, when I woke up in the morning, I slept firmly on my pillow. Then I hurried to take a bath, had breakfast, and we went to the guild.

"Huh? There are many orc subjugation quests." 

There are more orc subjugation quests than before.

I also wanted to hear the results of the orc survey, so I went to the reception to ask. 

"What happened to the Orc Survey?" 

"Well... there was an unusually large number of them, but only orcs were found."

"I see...”

"Also, one person who entered that forest suddenly disappeared.” 

"Disappeared!?" 

"Yes, so please be careful." 

"Thank you"

I've just heard some terrible information. I'm curious about the fact that it's not the whole party that's disappearing, but just one person.

"Finish up early today and come to the guild." 

"Huh !?" 

How do you make only one person disappear? While thinking seriously about this, I was suddenly called from behind. 

"I'll teach you the rare magic I promised before." 

"Wow, I understand!" 

The person who spoke suddenly was the guild chief.

I definitely want to acquire rare magic, so I asked Sophie and Shana if we could finish up early, and it they said it was okay. 

"Let's go" 

Then, while looking forward to the rare magic, we headed for the orc subjugation.

"Wind cutter" 

"Boohoh ..." 

"Nice, Sophie" 

"It was nothing" 

It's just before 12 o'clock now, but 30 more orcs have been subdued. After all there are too many. However, even though there’s such a large number, there are no higher-ranking species to be found, I really don't know what's going on.

"Sorry, can we stop here for today?"

"That's fine.

"Hmm."

I apologized to Sophie and Shana for leaving earlier than usual, and decided to call it a day. I left the forest with a very happy feeling.

"Then I'll teach you the magic." 

"By the way, what kind of magic is it?" 

And after a quick exchange of the goods, the guild leader is teaching me magic. I've heard that the training ground is off-limits to the public. It's an abuse of authority, but it's for my own good, so I'm not complaining. And it's only me, the guild leader, and Sophie in this training hall. Shana said she had some things she wanted to do if we finished early, and left. I heard that Sophie wasn't really supposed to be here either, but she didn't want to hear it, so the guild leader gave in.

"I’ll be teaching you spirit magic." 

Apparently, I can be a spirit user.
