Chapter 114: Party 1

"Huuuh..."

“Zero-niisama, let's go.”

"I know..."

In the end, I fell asleep as soon as I got home last night and when I was woken up, I was told that the party would start in about two hours, so I was rushed to get ready. 

In those two hours, I thought about what I would say to Elira and Becua. I feel like I can be honest with Elira, except for the part about Ygg, the Spirit King. Then she might be able to teach me spirit magic when I study abroad. The only problem is, if they find out that Ziel is the greatest of the high level spirits, as Yug's caretaker, it's going to be very troublesome and for Becua...what to do...I haven't thought of anything.

We arrived at the venue and the party began with a talk from a great man. 

To be honest, I wasn't really interested in the big people in this country, so I didn't really listen to him. I was more concerned about the fact that I couldn't read the emotions of the people who were talking. Are they wearing some kind of magical device that makes it impossible to tell...? Nope! The guild chief only calls herself guild chief, so I don’t know her name.

This is the guild leader's personal information. I don't know who she is, so it's okay, right?

There were a few more questions after that, but Elira finally said that and walked off the balcony. I’m glad... I think I've cleared all issues with Elira. Now all that’s left is Becua....

"Oh, can I ask you one more question?"

"What?"I stuttered in surprise as she suddenly turned around as if she had remembered something. I was so relieved that I had managed to get through this, so please don't do that.

"Are you sure the spirit you're contracted with is the top-level spirit of lightning?"

"Uh-huh."

For a moment, I felt nervous. In fact, I'm contracted with the top-ranked thunder spirit, Ziel, so it can't be a lie. But I didn't expect to be asked such a timely question when she was leaving.
