Chapter 360: Eradication Operation Begins

　During the three days leading up to the assassination guild eradication operation, detailed information was gathered and all possibilities were discussed at night.

　Of course, the location was the city of Caxart, where the dragon people’s capture team was waiting, using Ragune’s “dimensional corridor” and Tauro’s “spatial transfer”.

　And on the night of the day, a bar was rented out and all the members of the dragon tribe were gathered together.

“──So, this is all the information we can find out at this point.”

　The red-haired Malak finished his report in front of everyone.

“We’ve narrowed down the attack locations a little. Now that we have reduced the number of raids to three, let’s use the remaining personnel to attack the Hitter Trading Company.”

　Tauro unfolded a floor plan of the lord’s mansion and showed it to them 

“Oh! Tauro-dono, you were able to obtain it?”

　The hero checks the floor plan that Tauro unfolded.

“This floor plan is from when the feudal lord’s residence was first constructed, and some areas have been renovated since then and have completely different shapes. I don’t know how much of a reference it will be.”

“No, this is huge. The location of the basement, of course, but the location of these sewers can be tweaked with a little afterwards, but even if hidden passages were built, they would be in line with this, so we can roughly predict what to expect. When we attack tonight, we will have someone with our warding skills break the wards,  so immediately after that, I will have another person use their abilities to investigate the hidden passageway and take measures to block it up.”

　One of the heroes pointed to the floor plan and nodded.

　It was probably a bandit-type ability. Tauro was impressed by the diverse abilities of the heroes of the dragon tribe, wondering if it was that easy to find them.

“Well, then, we’d better get over there. ───Ragune, “Dimensional Corridor”.”

　Tauro asked Ragune to open the “dimensional corridor,” and holding the hands of the dragon people, he instantly moved to the Bomen capital by “spatial transfer.”

　This may be Tauro’s best show, since he cannot move so many people at once like in a dungeon, he consumes a lot of magic power.

　After several round trips, he took a break to drink a potion to recover his magic power, and then repeated the process of sending them back again.

“…… phew. I haven’t had a tummy ache in a long time. ……”

　Tauro rubs his stomach.

“Are you alright, Tauro? This is the last time, so hang in there.”

　Ragune was also drinking too much magic power recovery potions because she kept opening the “dimensional corridor” and moving and coming back again and again.

　Both of them laughed bitterly at this situation, but after sending off the last members of the dragon race, Ragune finally appeared in the ruins on the outskirts of the city of Bomen, and closed the “Dimensional Corridor”.

“That’s it, everyone. Now, everyone, please disperse to your posts. The attack will take place in exactly one hour. We will move in to pack up for the attack on the lord’s mansion.”*

　The members of the dragon race nodded at Tauro’s words, then left the ruins and scattered to various places in the capital.

　They all had the map in their heads, or they were not lost.

“Ragune, Ankh. Let’s go too.”

　Tauro called out to them, and they headed for the lord’s mansion together with the Great heroes in charge of attacking the lord’s mansion.

“I will dissolve the barrier that has been put up…”

　One of the dragon people chants something as he says this.

　And then, without checking to see if it was solved or not, all the dragon tribe members immediately rush into the lord’s mansion.

　Tauro and his friends had been hiding in the woods behind the lord’s mansion, watching the situation,  so when they saw that all of the dragon race members had started moving, they became nervous.

　The flames of fire erupted from various parts of the territory.

　It looks like everyone had launched their attacks on time.

　There were also several small explosions at the lord’s mansion.

　This meant that battles had begun everywhere.

“W-What’s going on!? Don’t tell me you screwed up your research this late at night!”

　Viscount Bormen, the lord of the territory, seems to have assumed something else was going on at the sudden sound of the explosion, and asks his servant to confirm.

“My Lord, please take shelter! Someone has invaded the mansion!”

　A servant rushed into the viscount’s bedroom.

“Don’t be alarmed! How could anyone enter this mansion without permission and get out alive? And now, the Four Heavenly Kings of the Assassin’s Guild and even the strongmen dispatched from the north are stationed in this house. It will quiet down soon.”

　Viscount Bomen calmed his servant down with confident assurance.

“I am the illusionist, Manu, one of the Four Heavenly Kings of the Assassination Guild. The moment you set eyes on me, your minds will be eroded by my illusion skills and you will be at my mercy. ──Come on, foolish intruders. You, tell me what your purpose here is.”

　In front of the entrance of the mansion, Manu, a glamorous woman with the appearance of a prostitute, interrogated the three intruders in front of her, confident of her victory.

“……Illusionist, eh? I’m a great hero, and I’m totally immune to illusion and enchantment. The other members are also resistant. You can’t even block our movements at this level.”

　The heroes replied, not moving an inch in the face of Manu, the illusionist.

“Oh, what nonsense! There’s only one person among the Four Heavenly Kings that my ability doesn’t work on. The rest should only be the guests who came from the north!?”

　As Manu’s face was pulled back in surprise, the Hero made sure there was no more to follow and stroke down  Manu off just like that.

“…No way…!…But I’m the weakest of the Four Heavenly Kings…you can’t beat the others…Gha!”

　Manu said this with a discarded line, and then died.

“Everyone, this person seems to be the weakest soldier. Let’s be on our guard and annihilate them.

　The hero of the great heroes reminded his companions of this as they invaded the mansion.
