Just another Isekai Lover~

Chapter 182: Is the Team Disbanding?

When Tauro and Aeris reached their house, they found Yu and Ren living there just as they had feared.

“What do you two want? Have you come to make more false accusations?” Ren demanded.

“We’re not making accusations. This is our house,” Tauro replied before Aeris could lose her temper.

“What? We rented this place from Rumeya. It can’t possibly belong to you.”

Ren, the thief, snickered as though Tauro were an idiot.

“You’re mistaken. Aeris and I are the ones who rented it. We merely left Shin and Rumeya in charge while we were away. So I must ask you to leave.”

“I don’t know what nonsense you’re talking about. Complain to Rumeya if you have a problem.”

Yu, the healer, emerged from the house behind her.

“You two again? What persistent little brats.”

Yu shook her head with exaggerated disgust.

“Now they’re even claiming this house belongs to them,” Ren told her. “I’m getting tired of their accusations.”

“That’s enough!” Aeris shouted, stepping forward despite Tauro’s attempt to restrain her. “Tauro and I paid the rent on this house! We renovated it ourselves!”

At that moment, Shin and Rumeya came running toward them.

“Tauro! Aeris! It’s been ages!”

Everyone turned toward the two men.

Tauro and Aeris hadn’t seen their companions in a long time, but the situation was far too complicated for a cheerful reunion.

“You two! Do something about this!” Aeris demanded, directing all her anger at Shin and Rumeya.

“Rumeya! Shin! These bra—these children have been accusing us of all sorts of things! Help us!” Ren shouted.

“Exactly!” Yu added.

“I’m home, Shin, Rumeya,” Tauro said quietly, wearing a chilling smile. “Judging by the situation, you’ve been renting our house to these two, haven’t you?”

“Sorry!” Shin and Rumeya cried together, apologizing immediately.

“What? Why are you apologizing?” Ren protested. “These children are the ones making false accusations!”

“Pack your things,” Rumeya told Yu and Ren. “I explained from the beginning that you could only stay here until the people who rented the house returned.”

“What? I thought that was merely an excuse! You haven’t mentioned them for months!”

“That isn’t true! You were both so pushy that it became difficult to bring up, but the house belongs to Tauro and Aeris. Tauro is also the leader of Black-Gold Wings, and Aeris is an official member!”

“What?!” Yu and Ren exclaimed.

“Shin. Rumeya.” Aeris’s voice became ominously calm. “These two have the Black-Gold Wings emblem embroidered on their backs. Explain.”

“Well… they asked us to let them use it,” one of the men admitted. “But we never intended to formally add them to the team! The four of us only formed a temporary party until you and Tauro returned!”

“That’s right!” the other added. “They began calling themselves Black-Gold Wings and embroidered the symbol without permission. We were trying to decide how to warn them!”

Shin and Rumeya desperately piled excuse upon excuse.

“But they’re your girlfriends, aren’t they?” Aeris pressed.

Neither man could escape her interrogation.

“We still intended to stop them, but… after spending time together, things somehow developed into a relationship…”

“And Ren said I was her type, so… that’s how we ended up together.”

Shin and Rumeya stood rigidly, drenched in cold sweat.

“And becoming their boyfriends made it even harder to correct them?” Tauro suggested, throwing them a lifeline.

“Yes! Exactly! We’re sorry!”

The two men dropped to their knees.

Yu and Ren, who had suddenly been made to look like the villains, weren’t pleased.

“Hey! You’re our boyfriends! You should be defending us!” Ren shouted. “Aren’t you ashamed to bow to these two brats?”

“Quiet!” Rumeya snapped. “You’re only making everything worse, so be silent for a moment!”

Ren recoiled at his anger.

The situation wasn’t the team betrayal Tauro had initially feared. Instead, it was rapidly turning into a quarrel between the two couples.

For the moment, Tauro only wanted Yu and Ren to leave so he could finally relax in his own home.

Tauro and Aeris had at least discovered the truth, but the entire confrontation had already left them exhausted.

    1. So, how much have you paid to read this? If you have such strong expectations, surely it’s enough to motivate you to learn the language so you can read it at your own pace? Or possibly pay the translator enough to justify expecting a professional schedule?

What you’re currently doing is pretty much the same as eating someone’s free food and then complaining that they’re not giving you free drink as well. If you do this in your personal life as well, I can’t believe that you’re very popular.

Either way, as one who benefits from the translator’s efforts, I can’t simply stay silent.
