Chapter 200: Concerned Disciples

　When our bellies were full, we decided to take a bath. According to what I asked the servants, there was a large public bath and a private bath. By the way, there was no bath attached to the room. Is that so? If they had done that, we would take as many baths as we could get.

“Which bath would you prefer, the large public bath or the private room?”

"Wouldn't it be better to have a private room? I've heard that nobles don't like to take baths in public baths."

“I don’t think so. I’d rather take my time in a large bath. But yes, let’s have a private room for the sake of it.”

　I gave the servant a look and he moved quickly. Apparently, private rooms need to be reserved in advance. I guess there aren’t that many of them. After a while, I was told that I could get in right now.

　So we quickly headed to the private bath. Apparently, right next to the private room was a large bath. There were about three private rooms.

“This is the private bath? It looks bigger than I thought it would be.”

“It’s a lot bigger than you thought, huh?”

　Axel was puzzled, but the bath was about one size smaller than the one at the Margrave Heine house. I had expected it to be bigger since it was a bath for high-ranking nobles, but since it was inside a castle, there must have been a limit to how large it could be.

“I guess the bath in your house is bigger than this one.”

“Sort of.”

　I undressed in the changing room and took a bath. The bathtub was filled with hot water. I looked around the bathroom, but there seemed to be no shower. Apparently, it hasn’t spread to the royal capital yet. Even though it’s very convenient.

“What’s the matter, Julius?　You keep looking around.”

　Ijidol asked me while covering his front. I don’t think there’s any need for such concern, since we are both men. You’re not a girl, are you, Ijidol?　he's not hiding his chest, so it’s okay.

“I was just thinking, “there’s no shower.”

"Ah, you mean that magic tool that produces hot water from the tip that you were talking about? If it's that good, I'd like to use it too."

　Perhaps imagining that magic tool, Axel is looking into space. Once he sees the real thing, I'm sure he'll realize how easy it is to use. Should I make it while I'm in the capital and give it to him as a present? It might be a good idea, since he’ll be sweating a lot since he’ll be moving around during swordsmanship practice.

"I'll be staying in the capital for a while, so I'll make you one. It's not that difficult of a magic tool. I'll make one for Ijidol, too."

“Really!? Yay!”

“Thanks, Julius. I’m looking forward to it.”

　I wash my body side by side with them. I repeatedly fetch hot water in a tub and pour it over again. Yeah, it would be more convenient to have a shower magic tool after all.

　As expected, there were no servants here. They offered to wash my body, but I politely declined. I was impressed by their slightly disappointed look. Closeted perverts, huh?

“Hmm, are the baths reserved for nobles not that different from the ones we bathe in?”

"It's just warmed water. The contents are the same."

“I wonder if it’s sweet?”

“Don’t really drink it, Ijidol.”

　At first they were intimidated by the luxurious bath décor, but they seem to have gradually become accustomed to it. They seemed  to have noticed that other than the appearance, it was no different from a regular bath.

　Did I disappoint you?　Maybe I should have put some citrus fruit on top.

　After getting out of the bath, I headed back to the mixing room. After all, I was still curious. I don’t think there will be any problem since all I have to do now is to maintain the status quo, but apparently, I am concerned about how my disciples are doing.

“Julius-sensei, you have come to see us.”

"Yes, I was just a little concerned. But it looks like everything’s fine without me. I'm relieved."

"Those are our words. Since Julius will come to check up on us, we can face the pot with peace of mind."

　The night was getting late and they must be feeling tired. Still, the atmosphere in the mixing room was cheerful. There was no sign of fatigue.

"That's right, we've finally received permission to improve the icehouse. We'll start working on it tomorrow."

"Oh! This is great news. If there's anything we can do to help, please let us know."

“Thank you. But for now, please concentrate on making the magic potion. It will take a long time to complete. Don’t let up until the end.”

“Yes, sir.”

　The royal palace magic potion masters nodded firmly. They seem to be aware that they are making a highly difficult magic potion. As long as they don’t relax, they will be fine.

“Julius is definitely a teacher.”

“ijidol is right.”

　Apparently they are both convinced that I am a Potions teacher. Is it good or bad? They seem to trust me, so I guess it’s good.

　I feel like I can feel passionate gazes towards me from Axel and Ijidol. It’s a little creepy.

　After checking the mixing pot, we returned to the room. Now all I have to do is sleep and prepare for tomorrow. It looks like I'll only be staying in the royal castle for one more day. In that condition, we should be able to do two more days of mixing without any problems.

“Julius, what are we going to do tomorrow?”

"Tomorrow, I'll go to the compounding room in the morning as usual, and in the afternoon I'll have magic training. After that, I'll start improving the icehouse. Huh? I'm busier than I thought."

“That’s true. With that schedule, it’s going to take a long time to finish the icehouse improvement. Are you okay?　Won’t His Majesty the King be angry with you?”

“I don’t know.”

　Will he be angry, like Ijidol says?　But I don’t feel like they want it made right away.

　 

　In a case like this, I’ll consult my brother Alex. Or even Miss Daniela now. Maybe he wants me to rely on her. I’ll ask Daniela-sama to help me in order to deepen our relationship.
