3. Galatea

"What's another world, you never told me about that before?" (Grace)

"Until now, you were unaware of the existence of other worlds. You couldn't investigate something you don't know exists, could you? This time, by touching the robot in front of you, you have learned about the technology of another world, and a part of the knowledge has been released."

"So are you saying that if I continue to gain knowledge of other worlds, I'll be able to build something like her?"

I was strangely convinced by the words of "World Library". This skill covers not only this world, but also the knowledge of different worlds... So my skill is not just "library", but "world library"... then there’s only one thing for me to do.

I stopped Vigna with my hand, who was rushing to pull me away from Galatea, and approached her. According to the knowledge I've just acquired, she's supposed to be a being that listens to her master's commands. So what would happen if her master weren't around? For now, there should be no danger.

"Affirmative. Souzi was my master and my father. But the fact that... I fell asleep and there is a new Lord... indicates that my father is no more..."

She looked at the tattered building and either sensed or remembered something, but she had a pained expression on her face and lowered her eyes. That gesture seems to be really sad..., maybe she has feelings unlike a golem.

With that, she bowed beautifully again. But for some reason, it looked to me like she was trying to hold back her grief. Souzi was human, so she’s probably not his actual daughter, but I guess there was a bond between them.

I guess it's better to keep moving so that she doesn’t have to remember the painful things.

She laughed happily as she said this. The smile on her face, which was filled with emotion, was somehow attractive, and it made my heart skip a beat.

"Grace! A demon!"

As I was about to talk to Galatea, Vigna's sharp voice rang out. Seriously? It was a great chance to gain some knowledge...

"That's an... old fire dragon, Elder flame Dragon..."

When I peeked out of the open door, I saw an ancient fire dragon crawling towards me with a huge body of several meters, like a snake, and I let out a despairing cry.
