Chapter 54: A New Life Begins

Having concluded the final battle with his half-brother, Rest enhanced his body with magic and returned to the Rosemary Marquis Family's mansion. Although it was evening when Rest returned to the mansion, two familiar figures were waiting at the entrance.

"Oh, Rest!"

"Rest-sama!"

"Huh? Were you both waiting for me?"

Standing at the entrance were Viola and Primula, and Rest couldn't help but widen his eyes. He hadn't informed them of his return time... When had they started waiting?

"Yeah, um... we were worried. I mean, you went there, right?"

"Since only the carriage came back, we thought something might have happened!"

The Cedric Ebern that Rest knew no longer existed in this world. He would never appear before Rest and the Rosemary sisters again.

Although Rest smiled gently, the expressions of the Rosemary sisters clouded slightly. Even though he was family, having severed ties with him, they might have thought Rest was acting tough when it was difficult for him.

The proposer, Viola, was now in a state where flames seemed about to burst from her face. She was desperately trying to cheer Rest up, thinking he might be feeling down.

"But... shall we take a bath together? And let's arrange the beds side by side so that the three of us can sleep together."
