Chapter 51: Alicia the Archer

Then, we arrived at a nearby forest.

Alicia was carrying the newly completed compound bow on her back and was walking beside me with a cheerful expression.

“Look, over there. Just a moment… ‘Far Sight.’ It’s a monster called a cow bison. It has large horns. Lloyd-sama, can we target that monster?” 

Alicia asked me while gazing into the distance.

Hearing the familiar skill name reminded me of the settings in the anime.

That’s right. Elves have great eyesight.

Elves have lived in forests for a long time and are a hunting tribe.

So, in the anime, Alicia often found distant enemies.

I fixed my gaze on the invisible forest and nodded slightly.

“Yeah. Even though we can’t see anything, I think it’s fine to go for that one.”

It’s not like we’re limited to just one practice shot.

Rather, I want to see if we can defeat an enemy that’s too far away for us to see, and also how accurate the shot is.

Afterward, a voice echoed from a short distance away, and Alisha relaxed her expression.

It seemed she had easily taken down an enemy we couldn’t see.

“Lloyd-sama, I did it in one shot!”

Alicia said this, smiling happily.

With that, we followed Alicia as she guided us to the location of the monster she had defeated.

And to think she has such remarkable skill with a bow to shoot something from this far away.

I couldn’t help but feel impressed by Alicia’s talent, which exceeded my expectations.

At this rate, she might not fall behind Kane and the others.
