I was sweating nervously as I faced the iguana-like monster before me.

Considering Lloyd’s “Steal” trait, it might even be strong enough to block my “Wind Claw (Magic)” without damage.

Seeing the bewildered monster, I calmly raised my sword.

Looking around at the damage, I couldn’t help but grimace.

The area was scarred with terrible marks on the trees and ground, making it hard to believe it was just a battle between a C-rank adventurer and a monster.

As I was thinking this, Lilina approached me apologetically, her usually upright ears drooping.

She seemed to feel responsible for not being able to assist.

I said this while patting Lilina’s head, waiting for her spirits to lift.

Thinking this, I continued to enjoy the soft texture of her head as I petted her.
