Chapter 221: The Power of Two

“So, are you both ready?”

“I'm ready.”

“Then let the mock battle begin!”

After Sophie confirmed that I, Shana and Claudia were ready, she announced the start of the mock battle.

I thought about trying to persuade Shana, but it seemed impossible, so I stopped. And as the sword slowly fell towards me, I created a wall with ice magic. But this is just buying time. The solution finally came to me when the magic sword slipped through the ice wall. I changed the recovery double enchantment and jumped at Claudia with all my might. I’d actually tried to run toward her, but before I knew it, the chains had wrapped around my legs, so I had no choice but to fly. Incidentally, I couldn't move by lightning contraction because Shana was wrapped around me. And the moment I flew, I cut off all enchantments. It's a big burden on the body, and since I don't have a magic supply right now, I’d run out of magic right away.

Other than that, I also came up with the strategy of using magic to defeat her before Claudia's magic reached me. Sophie, Elira, Urza and Carina worked together for about 20 minutes to untangle the tangled chains. Claudia was able to be untangled quickly, but it took me and Shana a long time to be untangled because it was so intricately entangled. When they finished, Sophie cast a restorative spell on both of them. They’ll wake up soon.
