Just another Isekai Lover~

Chapter 419: A temporary solution?

After tracking the villain Grado to a warehouse and hearing the whole story, Tauro decided to avoid the foolishness of going in alone and return to where the others were.

This is because he was still on a mission as an adventurer.

At first, he thought of following the man in charge, and indeed he did, but instead of going directly to the boss, the man headed for a busy street.

Then, if he was hidden using invisibility magic, he could easily bump into people and cause a ruckus. So, he revealed himself and gave chase.

The man in charge walked out to a main street and went into a shop.

 It’s a transmission agency.

This is a job that involves conveying letters and errands to the intended recipient as quickly as possible.

Basically, they communicate letters and oral messages on behalf of others, but they can also conduct simple exchanges using magical tools in various locations.

However, the use of these tools is limited because they cost a lot of money and are not very confidential.

“I can’t track him any further once he’s in the store. I guess I’d better go back to …… everyone.”

Tauro thus gave up the chase and headed for the rendezvous point to meet up with Ragune and the others.

When Tauro arrived at the soldiers’ station by the castle gate, he found that Ragune and his other friends were in the process of handing over the captured villains to the territorial soldiers.

“perfect. May I have a word with you, Captain?”

“What’s is it, little man?”

The captain who had brought the troops responded kindly to the child, Tauro, when he spoke to him.

“Ah, this is who I am.”

Tauro thought it would be better to show the real thing rather than explain, so he showed the captain his certificate as an inspector of the territory.

“Th-What is this?! My apologies, Sir! So, what may I help you with, Inspector…!”

The captain, realizing that Tauro was no ordinary boy, saluted him and waited for his reply.

“Actually—”

Tauro explains the whole story to the captain.

The captain listened to Tauro’s explanation with a serious look on his face, but was soon surprised by what he heard and realized that the problem was no simple one.

“—I understand… I will send guards to that warehouse. And what about you, Inspector sir?”

The captain was curious as to what Tauro, a child far superior to him, would do.

“I’ll leave the matters in the capital to you all. I have some business to attend to… –Ragune, Ankh, Zion! Can we go now?”

Tauro called out to Ragune and the others, who had finished handing over the captured villains and were watching what was happening.

“Yeah, we’re done here. Have you finished tracking him, Tauro?”

“Well then, Captain, please take care of the rest. Yes, Ragune. I’ll leave the rest to them, so it’s okay. Anyway, let’s go meet up with Garde-san. We still have work to do, so let’s go.”

After leaving the matter of the warehouse to the captain, Tauro, who is still on a quest as an adventurer, headed off to meet up with Garde.

After this, the territorial capital’s soldiers led a squad to the scene and surrounded the warehouse from Tauro’s testimony and stormed in.

The scene was filled with evidence of the manufacturing of harmful drugs, including piles of actual drugs.

Grado, who had previously attempted to escape, was also there and tried to escape again, but was restrained by the soldiers.

However, the man in charge, the one who needed to be captured the most, was not there.

It seemed that he had realized what was happening and fled.

The guards were proud of the physical evidence they had seized, but when Tauro heard the report later, he felt that the matter was still far from being resolved.

Afterwards, Tauro and his group met up with Garde, and went on delivering farm produce and other goods to his trading partners.

After a few days away, They finally escorted Garde back to the village of Marfa and successfully completed their quest.

At the same time, they signed an official rental contract for a bag with medium magic storage, and Tauro and his party returned to the adventurer’s guild in the capital city to report the completion of the quest. After receiving confirmation that the quest had been completed, everyone was finally able to take a break.

“Let’s get something to eat before we go back to the castle. What would you like to eat?”

Tauro asked Ragune and the others what they wanted.

“I really want to eat pork cutlets for the first time in a while.”

And so, Ragune requested the usual,

“I want to eat miso meat, but we don’t have it here.”

 Said Ankh.

“I want the same thing as Tauro-sama!”

Zion, a Tauro devotee as always.

And so, each of the three had something different, and they were all things that weren’t eaten in the capital.

“…Then, shall we go to the dragon people’s village?”

The only place that could fulfill everyone’s wishes was the village of the Dragon People.

Miso, too, had been brought in by Tauro, and the Dragon People’s Village has begun to produce it in their own unique way.

And a new menu was born.

 It’s the Miso pork cutlet.

Since both of these items were brought in by Tauro, they were added to the curry specialty restaurant produced by Tauro as a new menu item before long.

“A taste of Nagoya in a place like this?!”

Yes, the miso made by the dragon people’s chefs based on the miso brought by Tauro was Hatcho miso.

The miso was then combined with tonkatsu (pork cutlet), asas it seemed like a natural combination, creating the miso cutlet.

“What is Nagoya, Tauro-sama?”

Zion curiously asked Tauro, who was in awe at the miso cutlet in front of him.

“I’m talking about the real place where this miso cutlet is eaten.”

Tauro explained, having accidentally blurted out the name of a place from his previous life.

“Really?! You should have told me about this delicacies much sooner!”

Ragune was waiting with her mouth watering in front of the miso cutlet.

“The miso smells delicious, indeed.”

Ankh commented as he made a sniffing motion.

”Ahaha… I never thought the dragon people would make their own hatcho miso. As I expected, if I taught them “1,” they would turn it not into only “2” or “3”, but “10”.”

Tauro was impressed, and everyone joined hands to say “Itadakimasu” (Thank you for the food) and enjoyed the misokatsu.

Ragune, Ankh, and Zion were all delighted with this new menu item and had to have a second helping.

Tauro too tasted the dish from his previous life, and together they concluded this long quest
