Chapter 97: And while we're at it, let's make a magic potion

While I was making a large amount of distilled water with the modified distillation equipment, I received a call from the Adventurers’ Guild that the materials I had requested had arrived.

That was quicker than I expected. With this, I don’t have to use the Potions Guild, do I? That does make the price more expensive, though. Then there is the question of quality.

Dry cordyceps well and crush it finely in a mortar and pestle. Add salt, sugar, black pepper, and seeds of the poison-removing herb, mix well, and crush further.

Add a little distilled water to the resulting powder and knead together. The mixture is then rolled into pill-sized pieces and dried to perfection. I used my “drying” skills, so it didn’t take long.

Anti-diarrhea: High quality. Cures stomachaches. Odorless and tasteless.

“Now the knights’ stomach problems will be solved. Next, I need to solve the problem of their feet. No one in particular says anything, but the inside of those shoes should be soggy. I guess we can’t make shoes …… with a drying function.”

Poison Toad Mucus is lightly boiled in distilled water. This will reduce the toxicity of the poison toad mucus. Add honey, saffron, mint, and medicinal herbs to the mixture.

After simmering the mixture, filter it once so that it does not boil over. Transfer the resulting solution to a one-handled saucepan, bring to a boil while adding the beeswax. When it becomes sticky, it is ready to use.
