Chapter 359: Getting Ready for Summer

A few days later, the door-closing mechanism for the Heine Trading Company was completed. During this time, I had also gotten used to picking up and dropping off Fabienne. She seemed to have become more at ease, and now it was okay to go a bit faster.

As soon as we entered the mansion with Fabienne, we started taking action. Since I had already informed Rosalia beforehand, everything was prepared. While Nero carried the box with the door-closing mechanism to the carriage, Mira, who had shrunk in size, fit into Rosalia's pocket.

"Big Brother, may I visit the workshop on our way back?"

"Of course, that’s fine."

We departed from the mansion and headed towards the Heine Trading Company. The summer sunlight was gradually becoming stronger. The Heine Margraviate is famous as a summer resort, so it wasn’t too hot, but I imagine it must be getting quite hot further south.

I wonder how Brother Cain and sister-in-law Meeka, who are attending the academy in the royal capital, are doing. I hope they aren’t suffering from summer fatigue. I’m starting to worry a little.

"I’ve been waiting for you, Rosalia."

Brother Alex, with a smiling face, welcomed us. I’ve been seeing him nearly every day lately. Perhaps he’s gotten used to the loneliness of sister-in-law Daniela not being around.

After quickly finishing the installation, I returned to the break room, but Rosalia and the others hadn’t returned yet. I snacked on dried fruits with Fabienne.

"I’m thinking of sending sunscreen to the sisters in the royal capital. What scent do you think they would like?"

"Well, for sister-in-law Daniela, I think a rose scent would be nice, and for sister-in-law Meeka, something with a jasmine scent might be good."

"Alright, let’s go with that. As a man, I wouldn’t really know."

Fabienne smiled as she said that, but honestly, I really don’t know. Well, I can tell if a scent is pleasant, but I don’t know which one would suit me.

The sunscreen with fragrance became unexpectedly popular among the noblewomen. Of course, I also gave some to Fabienne’s mother as a gift. She was really pleased with it.

Just when the atmosphere became a bit awkward, Rosalia and Brother Alex returned to the break room.

"It looks like Julius and the others have finished setting up safely. Everything here went smoothly as well."

"Thank you for your hard work, Big Brother. Rosalia worked hard too."

"I did my best!"

She looked so happy. The things she had made were now directly helping others in front of her. She must be feeling a sense of exhilaration she’s never felt before. As a magic tool maker, she’s definitely taken a big step forward.

Tea was soon prepared. Rosalia immediately started feeding dried fruit to Mira. I thought about stopping her, but for Mira, food doesn’t really have any meaning; it's just a matter of preference. I guess it’s okay not to worry about it?

"Julius, the construction of the greenhouse will begin tomorrow. I think we’ll start by making the blueprints, so would you be able to join us?"

"Of course. We’ll be discussing it here, right?"

"That’s right. It seems Father will also be coming here, so I’ll leave it to you."

It looks like the greenhouse construction is finally starting. It’s been a bit busy, but I guess the Heine Trading Company has finally settled down. It should be completed before winter, so there shouldn’t be any problems, right?

Once the break was over, we returned to the mansion, had lunch, and then proceeded with the afternoon’s work.
