Chapter 14- End-of-term tests begin

As I was preparing for the riding test and reviewing history studies, the month passed by quickly and I found myself on the day of the test.

The normally bustling and noisy classroom is as quiet as a library and a little tense.

They were staring intently at their textbooks and reference books, desperate for anything they could get their hands on.

If they got a red mark on the test, they would have to take a make-up class during the summer vacation. If you don't make up the score there, you may have to stay in school or even get expelled.....

“Don't let your guard down and lose points!" As I was saying to myself, the test proctor stood on the podium.

He leaned forward a little, his hands on the podium and looked around the classroom.

As if on cue, we all rolled up our papers at once. The sound of the paper fluttering made me even more nervous.

I glanced at the question paper, got all the contents into my head and picked up a pen.

I quickly solved the first question in my mind and wrote my name in the signature line.

I put a period at the end of the sentence and put down my pen.

I check the written questions once and then review them in order, starting with the first question. Then I corrected a few spelling mistakes I had discovered and properly checked the name in the signature line.

After repeating this process as many times as time allowed, the test supervisor looked up unexpectedly.

"──── That's enough. Everyone, put your writing utensils on your desks. I will collect your answer sheets."

We were declared finished with the test and we all took our hands off our pens and answer sheets at once.

We put our hands on our knees to show that we 'didn't do anything.

As the test supervisor took turns collecting the answer sheets, we C class students relaxed our shoulders.
