Chapter 209: Tomorrow’s Schedule

“I’m tired.”

“Well… you’d get tired after so many mock battles.”

Shana and I alone have done dozens of mock fights. And in the end, Shana’s sickle scratched me in the cheek.

“We fought so many times and all I get is a graze….”

“Don’t mind.”

By the way, it was said that Shana’s level is about 80. It’d be almost impossible to beat an opponent with a simple level difference of 20.

“You and your sister are strange. Ugh…I’m getting sick just remembering it…”

“Are you okay?”

“I want to believe I’m okay.”

Right now I’m on my way home from the woods with Shana on my back. The reason I’m carrying her on my back is because she’s so tired that she can no longer open her eyes. I’m not the cause of most of this.

Since the attack grazed me, we decided to end it with one last mock battle between Shana and Sophie. This is what happened when she saw the depth of Sophie’s mind.

“Why are you so much more of a brocon than you were during the last mock battle? This is already a kind of brainwashing…”

It seems that Shana, in order to save time, doesn’t “select and read the necessary information from the information she sees” when she looks into the depths of the mind, but rather “reads the information she sees from one side to the other. That’s why Sophie’s thoughts about me went on and on in her brain.

“It was so full of information that I was under the illusion that I was in love with Zeros too…”

Perhaps there is still some of that effect. Shana is clinging tightly to my back. I mean, Shana has found out that Sophie likes me normally, but is that okay?

“Sophie, you know about tomorrow, right?”

“Yes, of course I do.”

“What’s happening tomorrow?”

After the mock battle, the two of them started talking about tomorrow. I didn’t hear anything about it, so I guessed it must be something they had in common.

“…It looks like you haven’t told Zeros?”

“No, I didn’t.”

“No… you should have told him.”

It seems that tomorrow’s schedule had been intentionally left out by Sophie, and that I had something to do with it.

“So what are your plans for tomorrow?”

“Tomorrow, Oniichan, myself, and Shana are going to welcome foreign exchange students.”

“Oh, that’s right.”

Come to think of it, it’s that time of year already. Thinking about it again, it’s amazing that you can advance to the next grade if you just pass the test without going to school.

“Did Elira come to study abroad?”

The timing of the study abroad program is such that Elira is probably the one who will be coming to study abroad. The queen probably went to the royal castle to discuss about it.

“Yes. And the beastmen and dwarves are also coming.”

“That’s all of them.”

Apparently, Elira is not the only one who is coming to study abroad.

“But what about the school matches?”

If the foreign students are concentrated in one country, it’ll be difficult for schools from other countries to win. By the way, there has never been a situation where foreign students are concentrated in one country.

“The king is discussing that with the other countries.”

“Oh, right.”

It would be a little difficult to ban foreign students from participating. If they were allowed to participate until now and suddenly told not to participate, there would be some dissatisfaction. What are they really going to do?

“Let’s do our best to take care of the foreign students starting tomorrow.”

“Yes, let’s do our best.”

“From… tomorrow?”

What I just heard is that we’re going to pick them up tomorrow. I never heard that we’d do anything after tomorrow.

“We’ve been entrusted with the sole responsibility of taking care of the foreign students during their stay.”

“You’re kidding… right?”

Normally, such an important thing should be done by a serious person who has been attending the school properly. It shouldn’t be done by an unserious person like me.

“I heard that the foreign students have requested it. They want to work with Zeros Adolfo during their stay. But they said it’d be too much work for you to do it by yourself, so they put us with you.”

“Thank you both…”

“And I’ve also added Claudia to the caretakers at my request.”

“I’ll have to thank Claudia tomorrow.”

Apparently, I was the one the foreign students wanted, and the two of them and Claudia seemed to be in a position to be involved with me.

I can understand why the elves would pick me, but I don’t understand why the beastmen and dwarves would pick me as well. Oh…come to think of it, Bequa apologized to me at the party after the school battle…. I hope he doesn’t bring anything unnecessary into this….

“So, let’s do our best from tomorrow.”

“Let’s do our best.”

“I guess so…”

If I left the school, I wouldn’t have to deal with the foreign students anymore, but I can’t do that. My parents told me that if I suddenly want to do something in the future, graduating from the academy will be a great advantage, so I must graduate. I don’t need to graduate from the school if I’m an adventurer though….

I already have a feeling that tomorrow will be troublesome, but if the decision has been made, I have no choice but to do my best.
