Chapter 237: I Will Return to My Own Capital

　We must return home before the capital is closed to the snow in earnest. While many nobles stay in the capital for a while after the social season is over, those with fiefdoms in the north have to hurry back home. The same was true for our family.

“Ah, brother Cain has returned.”

“Cain, you’re late. What are you doing?”

　Perhaps he was reluctant to leave sister-in-law Meeka, but Brother Cain finally returned from the school the day before we left for the capital.

“I’m sorry. Um…”

“Brother-in-law Alex,  Julius-chan, thank you for taking care of us.”

　Oh, I see. I see that sister-in-law Meeka is planning to come to the capital with us. You should have told us sooner!　What are you going to do, Brother Alex?

　Contrary to my surprise, brother Alex had a really nice smile on his face. I’m scared. Stop it. The temperature inside the room is already zero. Brother Cain’s mouth is clearly twitching.

“Cain, you should have said something important like that sooner.”

“I-I’m sorry.”

　Brother Cain apologizes. I wonder what we are going to do about this. We’ll need another carriage, right?　Or are you going to force the five of us to ride together? If that’s the case, we can move Nero to the carriage that Lelie is riding in and have Lelie sit on his lap……. Oh?　Two more carriages are coming.

　The carriages bear the family crest of Count Crystal family. The name “Count Crystal” is the family name used by The Royal Family when they are acting in secret, isn’t it?　So that means that there is a member of the royal family on that carriage  ~ Idiot!

　While I was thinking about this, the carriage stopped, a stepping stool was immediately prepared, and Daniela-sama came down from inside with a smile on her face. It’s just Daniela-sama, right? There’s no extras, right?

“Am I late?”

“No, there’s nothing wrong. Something unexpected happened, but there’s no problem.”

　The unexpected thing, that is, sister-in-law Meeka. A big guy came out of the carriage and Cain and Meeka bowed. I also bowed in a hurry. I’ve been getting to know Daniela-sama very well, so I’m less cautious. I have to keep in mind that she is a member of the royal family. But she’s going to be my real sister-in-law soon. “Everyone, please raise your heads. I can’t talk to you like that. As you all probably know, I am returning with you to the Margrave Heine territory to train to be a bride. Please take care of me.”

　I didn’t hear that. I looked at my brother Alex at a frighteningly fast speed. Older brother looked at me like, “Huh?　Didn’t I tell you?”. I was surprised at  sister-in-law Meeka’s appearance, but this was also a big surprise.

　However, if this is the case, the carriage will be fine. Was that the reason why  brother Alex had a somewhat relaxed look on his face?

　The departure would be tomorrow. Two unexpected members joined us, but we hurriedly made preparations. Neither brother Cain nor sister-in-law Meeka had much luggage. Most of their belongings are kept in the school dormitory. Even so, I think one trunk is too much. They had a lot of swords with them.

　During dinner time, the allocation of carriages was decided. Brother Alex and Daniela-sama will ride in the Count Crystal’s carriage, and brother Cain and sister-in-law Meeka will ride in the Margrave Heine carriage. Me and Nero go back and forth between both carriages. ……How did that happen? Am I like a chaperone or something?

　The next morning, after breakfast, we departed for the capital. The carriage was seen off by the house orderly and servants, and it started moving nimbly. I leaned out of the carriage and responded to everyone in the townhouse waving at me. Of course, my brother Alex was angry with me. He told me not to do that because it was dangerous.

　　It’s okay. I’ve just always wanted to try it.

“I’m going to stop by the hot spring town on the way back. When I came to the capital, I couldn’t enter the hot springs because they were dried up. I’m looking forward to it.”

“Oh?　Did something happen?”

“Yeah, Julius was being a little bit.”

　Wait a minute, Brother Alex. It is true that I did it, but there is no need to go to the trouble of telling that to sister-in-law Daniela, is there?　Whether he knew how I felt or not, older brother happily talked about the “miracle of the hot spring town.” I wish people would’ve forgotten about it by now, but it’s probably become a legend. The spirit of the lake, I hope he is doing well. He looked completely perverted, though.

“Julius-chan is amazing after all.”

“Oh, that’s not true, -sister-in-law Daniela.”

　She is smiling happily. Apparently, she is happy to be called “sister-in-law.”

　It happened last night at dinner. Daniela-sama noticed that I was calling Meeka “sis-in-law” and started asking me to call her “sister-in-law” as well. I had no choice but to obey her and call her my sister-in-law.

　After that, sister-in-law Daniela also started hugging me, imitating  sister-in-law Meeka who hugged me whenever she saw me. I wonder what it is, do you have a rivalry with sister-in-law Meeka?　I would like them to get along well with each other.

　I was surprised by brother Alex and Cain, who looked at me with envious eyes. They looked as if they wanted to say, “Those tits are mine”. It’s not my fault.

　In the afternoon, I moved to the Margrave Heine family carriage. When I told him about the “story of stopping at the hot spring town” that I heard from brother Alex in the morning, brother Cain’s face turned delicate. Maybe he doesn’t have very good memories as someone who was in the same situation as me.

　Maybe he received a letter from father scolding him about that?　If so, I’m sorry for what I did.
