Chapter 135: Leather Writing Case
Yona had placed the gifts she had received on one corner of the table by the window and was looking over them together with Sylvie and Tina.
When Ren approached, she smiled brightly.
“Ah, Ren-niisama!”
Holding the protection stone pendant she had received from Grandfather, she showed it to Ren.
“Look. Grandfather gave this to me.”
“Yeah. I saw it. That’s great.”
“And also……”
Yona took out a hair ornament from one of the gift boxes on the table and showed it to Ren.
“Sylvie and Tina’s father gave me this hair ornament.”

“Look. It has the same flower design as the hair ornaments that Sylvie and Tina are wearing.”
Yona pointed at the flower decoration on the hair ornament.
Tina slightly tilted her head and turned the hair ornament she was wearing towards Ren.
The design was different, but it used the same flower motif.
Sylvie’s hair ornament also had the same flower motif in its design.
“Is it popular?”
“They’re made by the same workshop. But yes, they’re popular.”
Sylvie explained with a smile.
Ren reached into his pocket to take out the rainbow feather charm and held it out to Yona.
“Yona, this is from me.”

Seeing the feather charm Ren offered her, Yona’s face immediately brightened.
The feathers of the Rainbow-Tail Feather Bird sparkled as they caught the sunlight coming through the window.
The rainbow-coloured feathers tied together with a leather cord shimmered every time they moved, and Yona’s eyes sparkled as she looked at them.
Seeing how happy Yona was, Ren felt relieved.

Sylvie and Tina also looked at the feather charm Yona had received with smiles.
Suddenly, Tina looked at the person standing behind Ren.

Eugene slightly bent down and held out a wrapped package to Yona.

The gift Eugene gave Yona was the same as the one he had given Yuan: a leather writing case, a quill pen, and a small inkpot set.

Yona picked up the writing case and quill pen, looking at them happily.
The leather writing case had a loop made from the same leather material attached to it.
Sylvie spoke to Yona.
“Couldn’t you attach the feather charm you just received here?”
“Ah, you’re right!”
Yona attached the feather charm Ren had given her to the strap loop on the leather writing case and held it up to show everyone.
“Ren-niisama, look. I attached the feather charm you gave me.”
“Yeah.”
The rainbow feather charm swayed while glittering in the sunlight.

Ren nodded with satisfaction.
He was happy that Yona was already using his gift.
